I hate goddamn hands-off MMO development. PotBS has been out for weeks now and they refuse to address a number of stupid exploits that are allowing dipshits (strangely, all of them Pirates with names like 'Captain Roxxor' while all of the other factions have canonical names, go figure) to just completely fuck over regular players.

Like, an exploit that makes it impossible to access half of the French newbie area. Unless you want to just get sunk repeatedly by level 50 players in the best ships in the game. I mean. Whatever.

I think I work too quickly for the business world. People keep asking me to do things. Then I dick around on these forums for a while. Then I do those things and send them to those people. Then they reply and specifically thank me for getting them the information so quickly. I...you're welcome? :|

Shamefully, I just ran 20 Baal runs to help out some yutes. This is the evil of Diablo2. But my mix has been on. In fact at this very moment "She's Lost Control" just came on. Sweet.

I do not believe this. Even in Oxford there are a couple places open 24 hours that have food and tables. I'm pretty sure Oboro doesn't actually want to succeed in finding a reason to leave the house. Until she wants to be successful at these things there's nothing I can offer that's any help and thus I don't bother.

That is why i was a bit confused by Oboro's post. Seattle has at the very least a number of Denny's scattered about the metro area.

I have been up all night and have consumed a pair of McDonald's Sausage and Egg McMuffins. I am no longer in my right mind.

If you grew up in NJ, and were accustomed to there being both a wide selection of diners with specialties as well as having good food,

and your only exposure to Denny's was "oh my god Denny's is so bad" (this is how Denny's is portrayed on the internet), you would take Oboro's stance of not really respecting Denny's

as a more direct opposition, the nearest one is 2 miles away and I'm not really keen on walking 2 miles each way to buy shitty, overpriced food

    EDIT and for posterity

Oboro does not live in Seattle. Oboro thought she was moving to Seattle but she was not -- her roommate had just neglected to mention the distinction because we are "so close." Oboro is living in a cluster of housing developments in the suburbs east of Seattle, and must walk at the very least two miles to reach any kind of commercial establishment.

Denny's should always be a second to last resort in late night dining (the last being fast food).
