okay, we are working on transcendental landscapes in my digital print class. I still have a week to work on this before I hand it in. If anything stands out let me know so I can get to fixing it.

The trees and shrubs aren't up to the quality of the rest of the piece. They look out of place.

Hey, that's pretty cool! I think the texture on the foreground grass flattens out the painting a bit, since it's all the same consistency. Soften it up as it gets further away, like it is with the houses near the hills. Also see if you can tone down the saturation of the background to give some atmospheric depth.

What do you mean by transcendental landscapes?

Well my prof. described them as the landscape paintings from the hudson river schools. Like, large landscapes that make you feel small in comparison.

and thanks tam, they do look out of place
