If this thread ever dies, it needs to be chatlogged or AFKd. If someone ever asks for the definition of awesome in a future thread, this will be the answer.

Now just make it one of those shirts with a working display in it, so you can have any song playing on the front of the shirt...

How do you come up with these, Moss? I'm curious as to what you think about when you're thinking of your shirt concepts.

It's kinda hard to explain. Usually I start with a theme and then whittle it down until I feel the concept is strong enough to start working on it. With the AV tee for example, my thought process was something like this:

I should do a big tangle of wires on the shirt

Maybe those wires could be plugged into something

Maybe they could wrap around and plug into sockets on the back of the tee

Maybe there should just be some sockets on the back of the tee

Maybe there should be sockets on the back, and a couple of switches on the front

*sigh* I wanted to order the Kangaroo hoodie as a gift and saw hope when I saw it was on your threadless profile. Sadly it wasn't for sale.... : (

I hope this man speaks the truth!

EDIT: Quick comment, I do it odd that the kangaroo in the hoodie's pouch has such a long tail. I think it will just look better (logically) if the tail didn't poke out the other end.

threadless stopped sending me newsletters after getting them since 6 months after the site opened.

so i talked with some CSRs and they claimed it was on my end (it's not).

so I signed up with another email address and had that one just forward to me

so I stopped getting newsletters to the 2nd address - I hadn't even logged in, let alone changed anything.

threadless does not want my business anymore after buying over a dozen shirts.

The new style on the front is very nice but I was so happy when I noticed the Brodeo on the display of the first one.
