I had fun playing badlands yesterday. I need to play it some more to get a real feel for the map, but so far it looks like a good addition to the standard maps. I wish the top of the spires had at least SOME sniper cover though, but backstabbing flippy over and over again made up for that.
However, I played badlands on a pub for a few minutes to test something, and I had this happen to me:
The map ended almost right after that, so I couldn't go spectator to take a better shot of it. You'd think Valve would test for this sort of thing after the gravelpit exploit, but I guess not.

The big rock in the far corner of center area (the bridge and stuff). The pyro in the shot was shotgunning people through the grating right next to it.

w00sh i found out where it is. I'm going to go into a german server when I get home and see how many times i can get called "stupid american". Test this out before they take it out.

I discovered that for badlands, some typical class roles are reversed. Use two or three good scouts as a very frontline defense to harass and slow the enemy, while letting your heavy artillery and engineers take the center point.

Hey Jon, griefing in your server at the moment (I'm writing this to kinda "timestamp" it). Red team, teleporter fuckmupptry, like four dudes. I think it's the "soss" guys, but I'm too lazy to get steam IDs. Figure with the time you can go into the logs.
That, or if anybody with admin on JonXP's server is around, you could just go drop the banhammer.

So yeah I've noticed I only get crazy corruptions when my laptop goes above 60 degress for the cpu/gpu. I attest this must be dust, because I used to do intensive shit earlier and it never went batshit. Is there an inexpensive way to clean out dust and shit from a laptop without opening the smelly thing
