I did. It made NO fucking sense, either.

I think the clone thing has a chance in the ultimate world, but I think its happening way to soon.
Well I doubt it's going to be anything like the 616 Saga, as A) Ben Riely is already in the Ultimate Universe, he's Doc Conner's Black Reaserch Assistant, and Carnage is involved and he's actually intresting in the Ultimate Universe.

Er..no. I saw him in the Ultimate Spidey game. Ultimate Carnage is pathetic and has a crappy origin. Not saying Carnages is MUCH better but Carnage is cool.

Let's compare the two
Ultimate) An Imperfect Clone of Spider-Man, struggeling to grasp what/who it is, has to kill people to survive oh and the killer of [spoiler:4870a79ac3]Gwen Stacy[/spoiler:4870a79ac3]
616) A homicidal maniac Venom.
Killer of [spoiler:d17be9aa24]Gwen[/spoiler:d17be9aa24]?
Lame.
Let's compare the Venoms then.
Whiny, emo teen with a shitty version of the costume that was built to FIGHT CANCER!
Other one came from being the best costume Spidey has worn, turned into a vicious killer then anti-hero and Carnage spawned from that mofo. Carnage is just cool, it can't be helped.
Better than some mindless clone. Clones are such a cheap way to go about things.
Killer of [spoiler:de62262056]Gwen[/spoiler:de62262056]?
Lame.

I'll give you the Venom's Ultimate Venom sucked, Bendis even said that he hates Venom and Carnage he just did the storys out of their Popularity. However I think that Ultimate Electro>616 Electro.
Killer of [spoiler:8c54090b7e]Gwen[/spoiler:8c54090b7e]?

I don't even know where to start on this one.
1: Why is it that whenever someone is slightly depressed it is automatically labelled as emo. This is not correct. Ult. Brock has cllear motivations and has not once wallowed in self pity or any of that shite. He's an asshole, but he is almost the exact opposite of emo.
2: I don't believe Venom ever was a vicious killer. He has always had a strict code of conduct. His problem was with Peter. In his first outing, he had the oppourtunity to kill MJ and really hurt Peter. He didn't because he does not hurt who he thinks are 'innocents'.
3: Carnage is NOT cool. He is the furthest you can get from being cool until you start coming back around. To simplify, Carnage is London while Sydney is cool. He was a by-product of the XXX-TREME era of comics where everything had to be 'hardkore'. Kassidey had no depth besides being a killer. "Hey guys, let's make a story where Carnage kills loads of people because he's so XTREME'. He got a little dpeth in the 'Mind-Bomb' oneshot, but not that much. I jumped for joy when the Sentry killed him.
You need only compare Carnage to The Joker to see how much he sucks. Both are manic serial killers, but Joker has 100 times the style and depth Carnage has. Carnage just slices people up until someone can knock him out. That's all the character does.
Killer of [spoiler:0b4f3dd5d9]Gwen[/spoiler:0b4f3dd5d9]?
Lame.

So your problem is that he hasn't had a good writer basically?
Anyway, there was no body in the Carnage that Sentry ripped apart. Either the writer fucked up and confused it with Ultimate Carnage which would require a complete lack of knowledge about Spider-Man comics or it was some clone shell. I doubt he is dead.

.....or David Finch could have simply drawn him without a body accidently.
I think however that, regardless of if you like Carnage or not, and thinks he's the equivellent of a $2 dollar whore's douche bag in the comic scheme of things... Maximum Carnage for the Sega Genesis (and SNES too?) is one of the greatest Spiderman games ever.

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.

Are we talking about Ultimate London or 616 London?
Seriously though, London is awesome. You are odd.
I actually live in London and can attest to it's awesomeness. I was referring to their proximity to eachother. It is my understanding that you cannot get farther away from England than Australia, therefore Carnage is the furthest you can get from being cool.
As for my Finch Burn, it's not so much that he draws the same face on crowds of people. It's that he draws the same face on EVERYONE. In his New Avengers, I could not for the life of me tell Cap and Spidey apart out of costume.

Have you seen his new Moon Knight run? He's getting better at indivdual faces, At least for males.

Has this been posted yet? It's quite spoilerish for anyone out there who is still trying to avoid anything related to Spider-Man 3.
[realspoiler:07d2196b50]Interesting stuff here. The portion of the symbiote that's already covered Brock's body looks like Spider-Man's black suit, and it's really weird seeing Brock starting to form the trademark fangs, instead of the suit itself. I can't wait to see the final product.[/realspoiler:07d2196b50]
[realspoiler:07d2196b50]I really can't see it being anybody but Brock, but it doesn't really look like him; Topher Grace sports a totally different looking hairstyle, at least in the trailer.[/realspoiler:07d2196b50]
Nonetheless, very cool find.

It's definetly Topher. Apparently we have Ari Arad to thank for Venom, he managed to talk Raimi into it because he got his Sandman, which is his preferred villain and the 'kids' all want to see Venom so he thought it was fair to give him to them.

carnage sucked SO BAD he ruined venom's awesome character. maximum carnage was the epitome of bad 90s spidey comics.
he could have been cool, he could have been scary, but they just turned him into this annoying psycho who just goes on and on about stupid bullshit.
ultimately i think his lack of intelligence negates the possibility of him being a scary spidey villain.
