She did return in the 90s clone saga, but it didnt trigger it. Ben Reilly (the parker clone) returned to start it off in Power and Responsibility. Editorial evnetually made them throw the abandoned Gwen clone (who had a bunch of High Evolutionary crap with her as well that im not gettin in to) into the mix to "spice things up". Jackal also made a temperary Gwen clone unrelated to the returning original Gwen clone that promptly degenerated in front of Pete and Ben in Smoke and Mirrors. Yes. It is as complicated as it sounds.
So yes, she returned in the 90s Clone Saga and no, she did not kick it off.

Spoiler about Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane 1st issue:
[spoiler:b2ecaf1f1e]Wanting to date a celebrity+masked superhero whose age you are not sure of is ludacris[/spoiler:b2ecaf1f1e]
I always want to try it out, since I really enjoy most of McKeever's stuff, but I'm more than a little embarrassed picking up books aimed at teenage girls.
The first arc was pretty lame. It was about how all the animal based villians and heroes in New York were going crazy because of a shitty obscure villian. Oh, the art was shitty too.
The latest issue was huge improvement. The plot was basically Doc Ock was pissed off from Pete revealing his identity and he wanted revenge. The art and story was pretty damn good.

I bet we'll find out today in Civil War: Frontline 04.
I'm fairly sure:
[spoiler:c8b7e41839] it refers to him revealing his identity. They've always shown him relishing the fact that he was the only one who knew his secret identity, he even mentions that, I believe, in the Marvel Knights Spider-Man arc where Aunt May is kidnapped. [/spoiler:c8b7e41839]

[spoiler:2dc62224be] The Green Goblin showing up. That was pretty bad ass[/spoiler:2dc62224be]
Amazing Spider-Man however. That was some hotness.
[spoiler:2dc62224be]Spidey sorta got his ass handed to him by the Cap though. It was cool to see Spidey about to go ape shit though, I sorta wish more fighting would have happened between him and Cap. It seems that (as I have been guessing) that Peter is not going to put up with Tony for much longer. I can't see him really joining sides with anyone else though. I am 90% Peter will solve everything, he is just that awesome.[/spoiler:2dc62224be]
I am trying to piece together when the newest ASM takes place in relation to the main Civil War books. Since the first couple pages look like the trap that they set in Civil War 3, but I'd figured they'd mention [spoiler:f4120f2d99]Thor[/spoiler:f4120f2d99]
Also, [spoiler:f4120f2d99]what's the deal with the Thing lifting up the transport vehicle? I have no plans on getting FF's Civil War tie-in, so can someone just tell me?[/spoiler:f4120f2d99]

They should have just set it after the that event in Frontline 4 where [spoiler:39583a8219]those heroes got captured[/spoiler:39583a8219] or something similar. It just didnt feel like it really worked to me that it would be set after Civil War 3 like that, if anything it should have used this issue as a lead up to the events in issue 3 and continued on a bit from there afterwards. Doesnt matter I suppose, it'll lead to the same outcome for the character either way.

JMS doesn't pay attention to what other people write. As much as I liked the latest issue of ASM, Spider-Man has told the Avengers about his spider-sense on multiple occassions.

And theres a few people who have figured it out in the past just by watching Spider-man fight, I wouldnt doubt someone Tony would be able to figure it out like that. Also does his spider-sense even supposed to work like that? I know alot writters tend to use it rather liberally but I thought that was a bit much.

I wonder if he is to blame for the latest development in Peter's life? It seems like something he would do, based on his Trek proposal, but then again that seems like an editor's decision.
I wanted to try 616 FF, but I'm hesitant because he's writing it. With Spider-Man, it will be easy enough to stick with one of the characters other books.

JMS is a good writer, but the spider-sense thing took me right out of the book for a minute. I'd be one thing if it was a minor comment, but I'm sure it'll get played up now as "FUCK IRON MAN IS SPYING ON ME FUCK THAT GUY"

Since "The Other" arc Spider-Man's spider sense has been ramped up to an almost precognitive telepathy.

Best case scenario: Tony reminds him he kinda told everyone.
"Oh..did I?"
"Yep. Like 30 times before we saw Scarlet Witch."
"...Hmm...I kinda feel like a dick, now."
"I bet you do."
Aside from the total disjoint feeling of this AMS issue (where it takes place in whole Civil War thing), what was up with Cap basically beating Spider-man? I know the fight was far from over when he left, but still, he should not be able to even come close to laying a hit on Spidey. And shouldnt that hitech armor suit at least offer some protection from this supposed nerve strike of Caps? And considering someone with a Spidersense, spider agility and speed, shouldnt he have been able to dodge just about any attack that would be near a nerve cluster? Like if he fluked a hit, Spidey should have been able to at least move enough to dodge a nerve strike and take it in a rib or something? It just made no sense that a normal (well, lets say slightly above Olympic level normal) human was able to put the smack down on him. On top of all that, Spidey's inner monologue makes note in what seems like a bragging tone that he drew first blood with one of his tentical things? Wheres the Spidey from CW 3 that owned half the Secret Avengers with stealth camo and shit? Whole fight seemed contrived and forced to prevent Spidey from one-shotting Cap.

Spiderman would never be able to take Cap down with one punch. And Captain America is more than a match for Spiderman, phisically, and tacticaly far beyond him.
Rogers in the regular Marvel Universe has no superhuman powers, although as a result of the Super-Soldier serum, he is transformed from a frail young man into a "nearly perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Captain America is as intelligent, strong, fast, agile, and durable as it is possible for a human being to be without being considered superhuman.
Spidermans Powers:
Spider-reflexes and agility
Spider-Man's reflexes are roughly fifteen times faster than a normal person's, according to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Spider-Man 2004. In combination with his spider-sense, the speed of his reflexes allows him to dodge almost any attack, or even gunfire. Due to the events of "The Other," the speed of his reflexes increased and they begin responding directly to his spider-sense and instinct, making him even faster, but also making him lash out at negligible threats. (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #4)
Enhanced strength and durability
Spider-Man's strength varies widely due to artistic license. After gaining his powers, he could lift 10 tons.[issue # needed] His strength increased to 15 tons after the events of the "Disassembled" storyline.[issue # needed] Due to further mutation after "Spider-Man: The Other", his strength may have increased even further.
Among many, many others.
Please explain how he could not take Cap down with one punch and how Cap is "more than a match for Spiderman".
