    Yeah.

But, the reason I didnt post it was well, some people may not want to know what the cover is yet.

But if Spider-Man chooses a side that side automatically wins because Spider-Man can do no wrong.

I wonder if there isn't some CIA guy pressuring the boys and girls at Marvel to keep Spidey on the Governments side. Can't have a generation of kids growing up thinking it's okay to not agree with everything the government does. *paranoid glances as he dissapears into the shadows...

Since this is the Spider-Man topic, does anyone know hwere I can find some detailed info on Venoms history? I'm trying to complete the Venom article over at Wikipedia but I've expended my knowledge of his history and I'm sure there must be more than what I've managed to remember.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venom_%28comics%29 to see what, if anything, is missing.

I spent almost half a day deciding between the two and went with the normal cover. I also bought Marvel Visionaries : Jack Kirby, since I can't buy just a single book, it just feels wrong.

I thought I had found a cheap deal on e-bay too, but I totally forgot about shipping
But still 'Kraven's last hunt' :^:

Speaking of covers, has anyone else got this?. It's fantastic. Looking over the first twenty or so issues you can see practically each and every one introduces an iconic villain: 'Hey there's Doctor Octopus, and there's Electro, and there's the Scorpion, and there's the Green Goblin and and and and and...'.

    Movie related news.
Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco are being called back to the set of Spider-Man 3 for re-shoots, after test audiences complained the movie was lacking in "action." Franco, who plays Spider-man's alter-ego Peter Parker's troubled friend Harry Osborn in the superhero movies, has just finished filming comedy drama Camille with Sienna Miller. He tells MTV, "The next thing I'm shooting? Re-shoots on Spider-Man... Probably next month. Director Sam Raimi wants more action." The sequel also features Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church in new roles.
    Jolie Avoids Showdown with

If it has Venom and Sandman in there plus black suit Spidey, how the hell is he filming it that it doesn't have enough action? It better not be 90 minutes of emo walking around to music again.

I'm thinking they actually did justice and built up Eddie Brock more. That and maybe Peter being a general dick because of the Black Costume might have taken some time.

Then again, the Spider-Man franchise has been about the characters first, then action second. I like that.

Which is fair but with 3 villains, especially people like the Sandman? I want to see some fancy shit going on. Doc Ock, to me, was never a thread in the film. He was an unrelated entity tot he story, he had no interest in Parker or Spider-Man until Harry bribed him with Tridium to go get Spidey. It was all fancy when the battles hapenned but yeah, it was far too much 'taking mask off' and doing non spidey stuff.

If he isn't swinging aronud or in costume or doing normal things in the way someone with the ability to stick to walls would do them then its just a normal romance/drama film.

Ok, spoiler below, maybe. I enjoy reading comics occasionally. I do not follow up on the plots and some such, but I know Marvel's got this whole Civil War thing going on, and it's expected that they'll make some changes. But I don't know what to think about this. This could very well be fake, I don't know. I tried searching for it on the forums but I came up empty, so forgive me if it's old. But damnit, if this is real, then I demand an explanation for this travesty.

That picture above comes from an issue of the old Peter Parker: Spider-man series from a few years back.

The story was about a black child who lived in a run down apartment with his drug abusing mother. He fantasized about being friends with Spider-man as a means of escape from his crappy life. At the end he asked if Spider-man would take off his mask and share his secret identity with him. The kid imagines that Spider-man is black.

I just saw the cover for FNSM online and realized [spoiler:99b7cab814]Deb Whitman[/spoiler:99b7cab814] is making a reappearance. I remember reading the profile on the Appendix to the Handbook of the Marvel Universe and thinking the character should show up again following the unmasking, given what happened.

Anyway, what issue are they on for FNSM and when does 15 come out? I don't really care about Civil War, but I might check out this issue.
