Quick word regarding Spiderman 3: Wth? Gwen Stacey? You know, died long before MJ ever got thrown off a bridge thereby making the MJ bridge rescue a moment of salvation for Spidey? The Gwen Stacey whose death is why Peter Parker is so paranoid about the lives of the people he cares for? She's in Spiderman 3? It's one thing to establish your own continuity, it's another to butcher important character development. This is criminal. Call the Punisher.

So it's one thing to establish your own continuity.
But another altogether to...not follow another continuity?

Finally downloaded it. It was definately worth it.

Awesome fight between Peter/Harry. The cg still seems a bit off here and there, but I think it's way better than it was the first two. Definately worth the download.

I thought the sword was pretty cool.

But all I could think was "Where does he keep the pumpkin bombs?" then the little thing popped out.

Also, his costume looks a little more practical, with the kevlar looking chest armor and such.

Harry's mask/helmet thingy was sorta lame but I dug the rest of his deal. The fight scene was good but for some reason Toby just didn't look like he was fighting for his life, more like he was standing in front of a Green Screen making "thwip" moves with his hands. *Shrug*

I haven't seen this preview and I might be stating an obvious fact by now, but it kinda looks to me that Harry's ride in the movie might be an attempt at a modern version of the original Goblin-ride.

I like that we get to see Plainclothes Spidey fighting Hobgoblin/Green Goblin II.

They're calling him the New Goblin for merchandise, because he's not the Hobgoblin, and movie audiences will be upset if they hear the Green Goblin is back because they want new villains.

Really awesome fight scene. We should have had fights like these in the first movie against the real GG, but i can settle for this too.

Anyone else catch that Venom and fucking huge Sandman at the end?

I like (hate) how people are bashing on the Gobby board purely because of its shape.

It's not like Harry was shouting 90s-era surfer dude slang or head banging with a massive pink mohawk.

I also enjoyed it. I thought the 4 were played really to their comic personalities. It was Doom i had a problem with. No, i think Doom would call upon his unholy magical brain to try and cook up a solution to "lots o' fire + cooling water = frozen Doom" rather than just standing there and taking it like a bitch. To have made the movie a billion times better, it should have been a Doom-bot.

Also, Doom shouldn't sound like a pussy.

You know freeze-framing that new clip at the Venom scene, the CGI looks miles better and his teeth look pretty nifty too. The battle with Goblin still looked pretty choppy but if anyone says that any of these films have had good CGI so far they are out-right lying because its generally terrible considering how much money they pump into it. I can only assume Raimi is skimming off the top.

    Sandman looks decent too.

Considering both films won Oscars for their CGI, it's not as bad as you may think. Not that i agree with it, but someone thought the CGI was good.
