    Their revision of Deadshot makes him look like he stepped out of Big O. I approve.

    The feminine looking Bruce Wayne has a really nice looking Batman mask though

    So I think it sort of balances out

    I enjoyed the Animatrix, I hope this turns out just as good

    It will be fun to see a bunch of different teams coming up with new interpretations of the characters and environments

    Definitely some different styles in there. Id ont know about the one where Batman is an actual BAT-MAN, but the rest look good, especially the one with Val Kilmner.

    World record was so poorly animated though. It's like they had no idea what the phrase 'lip sync' meant.

    I preferred the one in the house, with the kids. Though Detective Story was so awesome. I wish they had done like a full feature in that style. With Batman.

    been waiting for an other good batman cartoon series for a while. fucking the batman and beyond don't cut it.

    Pip is correct. Stylized things are evil and impure and have no place in animation whatsoever.

    Anyway, this is definitely very unique and potentially gay, but I'm very cautiously warming up to the idea of Batman Anime.

    Just because it is stylised doesnt make it not bad. Especially when other parts of the Animatrix were more stylised and superior in every way. Even the story I felt was a little weak/meaningless.

    Dude, I could reach into my toilet and pull out a better show than "The Batman", and there will probably never be a better animated batman than Batman: TAS, so this entire post says absoultely nothing.

    Beyond was an amazing series, moreso because it got away with doing what it did on a Saturday Morning timeslot, which is usually the death of any quality cartoon series.

    Compared to other parts of Animatrix is was definitely not as good.

    Similar in style to that Riddick anime thing that was around next to Chronicles of riddick. didnt like that either. its not the art style, its mainly how over the top everything moved, jerky cuts and editing. lacked a certain polish that second rennaisance or detective story had. not neccessarily the art, but the production values.
