That is a bit sad, but on the other hand they got Steve Blum. Whether you think he's right or not (I happen to think it sounded strange) he's a top voice talent.
There's plenty of good stuff they can accomplish with the license, plus I assume it's not going to focus primarily on combat, so it intrigues me how they'll pull it off. I mean, I hope it's good, certainly. I'm not expecting much, especially since we don't really know much about the game (par for the course, I guess), but I do think it looks pretty good.
Bring the reviews.

All creature will die and all the things will be broken. That's the law of samurai.
I've been playing this for awhile today. The voice acting is so bad. :P I've interacted with a lot of characters so far, and the only voice from the show is Ben. Everyone else is different, and they feel so wrong. The actors themselves don't put much emotion into their roles, and most and persona's feel forced. The guy voicing Hurley sounds flat and awkward, especially when he keeps saying "dude." The same can be said for Sawyer. His sarcastic remarks and insults also sound forced and flat. The only good actor is the one playing Jack, Steven Jay Blum, but that cigar voice sounds strange coming from Jack's face.
The pacing feels off, too. I've barely played for an hour, but events from the show are blazing by. You'll be on the beach after the crash, and the next moment it'll be dark and Sawyer will be talking about how he's been tortured. And then the hatch will show up the very next. It's a bit disjointed.
Gameplay is hardly worth speaking of, aside from the annoying jungle segments. You walk around and talk to the characters, possibly trade your coconuts and water bottles you pick up for bolts for the energy panel mini-game or torches. In the jungle, you run around from one marker to the next, all the while avoiding the roaming black smoke or the constant gunfire from the trees. Each gameplay section is actually fairly short, while the loading times between them are very frequent and very long.
I'm not rating it yet, since a LOST game is about story and I'm not too far into it. I'm leaning towards it being worthy only as a rental, however.

I can't remember the last time a TV show license turned into a really good game anyway. And LOST, well--not the ideal property to adapt in terms of gameplay potential, I'm just saying.

My zombie survival life simulator They Don't Sleep is out now on Steam if you want to check it out.
I just played through the first little episode on the PS3.
Gameplay is like point and click adventure...light. They tell you precisely where to go and what you're looking for and then you fumble around looking for it. Fortunately, graphically it's quite gorgeous.
Load times are infrequent and only last a couple seconds at most, but there is a mandatory 3 gig install on the PS3 version. It took about 6 minutes.
I'm enjoying the game so far, but more for the plot than anything else. The gameplay just isn't quite there. It seems silly to run around collecting coconuts and water bottles that are randomly lying around as if they were rupees in a Zelda game.

I am loving it so far. Also, the guy that is doing Hurley's voice? None other than Jorge Garcia himself, so it's accurate. Can't wait to hear Michael Emerson as Ben here in a bit, not too far in.
Just jumped into some Banya trees to hide from the Smoke Monster, love how I am actually really scared of this thing. Also loved how Michael was screaming for Walt on the beach right off the bat.
The cave on Dagobah, with the cave that tests Luke. He takes the lightsaber in when Yoda tells him to leave his weapons outside, and due to his offensive move, the image of Vader appears and duels him. I might be wrong, just thought that was it.
Either that or you are being sarcastic and my sarcasm meter is dead.
I'm enjoying this game so far. First chapter was really short, but I have a feeling if you play this as an old school adventure game (talking to everyone and exhausting all conversation trees) the chapters will last at least an hour each.
Also, the music is fantastic. I don't care about getting the original actors, the only actor that really matters on lost is the music. And it's voice is ringing true.

I did notice the phenomenal music. But Jack, Locke and Sawyer's voices all get to me. All the other stand-ins are fine.
Jack sounds alright to me. It doesn't sound like the actor is trying too hard. But Sawyer and Locke? Horrible.
Listening to Jack in Episode 3 now, he doesn't sound too bad.
But on the beach in the first scene? When he was shouting? Awful. Bad first impression, I suppose.
EDIT: Also, I love how this game's dialogue feels a lot like the show's. Things like Scott/Steve and Hurley calling Sayid "the Republican Guard dude" (I believe Hurley was the only one specifically told that on the show) are a nice touch.

Fuck that. Desmond's the main character. The writers just don't know it yet.
It's going to be less than 30 bucks here in Canuckistan, or at least where I live. You shouldn't be spending $60 on it, period.
And I don't know...Jack is, in my opinion, ONE of the main characters. Locke is the other, IMO.
that's roit, brotha

Lost seems built for that sort of game.
I never asked for this!
Not $30 on the consoles though:(
wtf. I was just about to ask this question, but thanks for answering it. That's whack.
Lime'd for truth. Desmond for the win.
You crazy time-traveling, psychic, all-around awesome drunken scottish sailor man.
I bet then we would have free roam.
I never asked for this!
Now that would be a game.
I was thinking "Desmond and Charlie's Bogus Journey"
I'm imaging Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure but with Desmond and Sayid.
It's glorious.
I never asked for this!
Me too.
I would watch this film to the end of time.
