Fancy dress costume (Science)

I am going to a fancy dress party on saturday where the theme is quite broadly: Science.

Any tips on what to wear?

Being a science teacher this should be easy but it isn't!

In the off chance that I can meet a girl there let's try to keep the costume ideas to those without interaction stopping appendages i.e no electron shells to stop me getting within 5 feet of anyone.

Any help would be appreciated (I may even post pics of the final costume)

Anatomical cross-section of a human male. Get busy with the body paint.

    Both simultaneously, of course.

I guess you could go as prominent scientists, as well. Werner Heisenberg would be a good choice, if you can pull if off.

    Edit: Also, Nikola Tesla

This would be pretty much completely awesome.

You could dress up as a hippie and insist that you're a free radical.

If you have the time this stuff is awesome. I plan on using some the next time I go to Burning Man.

Here's a pic to get an idea of how it looks in project: Bike with EL wire

Cover yourself in whipped cream, fruit and chocolate sauce.

    You're going as Pi.

    Always a good choice.

But I like the shirt in the first photos:

It has this on the back:

And it's from the COBE mission that basically confirmed the big bang theory:

Or just keep leading conversations off-topic and claim you are a derivative.

    Dr Zoidberg man,

It's awesome and easy. Bald/swimming cap on your head, rubber glove over your mouth. Paint it and your face red.
Get a lab coat, red socks and sandals, and take your best shot making the claws.
