I was serious when I started that thread before, the Sephiroth trace was simply because I didn't have any ACTUAL art laying around and I, honestly, just wanted a picture up there to start. It was spoilerized because it was not a serious entry. Sorry if I didn't make that clear and you guys thought I was trying to pawn it off as my own art. That was my bad. :|

But I'm really interested in seeing some character art! When I get my scanner back up and running I'll post one of my own.

    How many threads must a man lock down, before you can call him a man...?

    Edit: Also, 'my scanner is down' is the most-used excuse I see for people not putting up art. Are scanners really that unreliable? I've had mine for a few years now and I've never had any problems with it. Or you are a BIG, FAT LIAR.

    I assumed the thread was locked down because of the whole trace thing. If it was locked down because of some other reason, I'll gladly step away. **Shrug** I just didn't want the thread to be locked due to my stupidity alone.

    I can't think of any OTHER reason this kind of thread should be locked. Please enlighten me if there is, though.

    Edit: My scanner is really down. And it's not because it just died on me- it's because my niece pulled it off the desk by the cables and it fell at a bad angle (That or the fall itself did the damage, but I stubbornly refuse to believe that any equipment I buy is that fragile). Before that, it had been going fine since I got it in '02.

    Every thread must have original art in it by the person who started the thread. It's in the rules list (marked "READ BEFORE ANYTHING!!") at the top of the forum.

    Edit: Hey, your avatar is a trace, too. From now on, Im'a call you Tracy "Carbon Paper" Replicate-Copysmith.

    O_o ok, that's my bad then. Feel free to close this off then. Many apologies around for not reading the art rules- That's me being a dumbass then >.<

    Actually, it's not a trace- it's a .gif that i just took from /b/ on 4chan.com . **Shrug**. Not my work, but again- not a trace.

    Can I get mod powers for 5 minutes so that I can lock this thread? That would make me feel so much better after this hard day.
    Though I can't guarantee I wouldn't also give Toaster an infraction or two.

    Bloody hell. Is this the first sign of a new influx of stupid people again? Is it that god damned hard to read the rules? They're right at the top of the page! It's not that hard to miss them! This is your first and only warning. Sort yourself out before you decide to start another thread.
