Fight Club jacket

I'm looking for a jacket similar to the one Tyler Durden wears in the movie Fight Club. Since I obviously can't pick up the original, I was wondering where I could find a decent replica knock-off without spending a fortune. Here is a visual reference for those who haven't seen the movie:

So far the best imitation i've seen can be found here, at soulrevolver.com:

Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey and something about the jacket color seems off. Maybe it's just me? Also, what's the price range i'll be expecting to put down for this while looking throughout the net?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: That shirt isn't bad either. Do want.

Now, wouldn't Tyler Durden be dissapointed that you have chosen him to idolize.

I say, find your own style.
I say, don't try to be like what you see on a movie.
You are not your fucing jacket.

Leather jackets of any quality are expensive. While I woudn't buy that jacket, paying that much for one is about what I would expect.

Remember what he said in the movie? Wear leather clothes that will last you for the rest of your life? If you take care of it, leather jackets will last a long, long time.

With that in mind, you may want to think about getting a more...traditional leather jacket as opposed to a red one, because if you do decide to keep it for any length of time, you may find the novelty has worn off.

I'm not trying to idolize the man, I just thought it would be a novel thing to bust out every now and then. I already have my own style, thank you very much.

That’s actually a pretty inexpensive leather jacket. If you want one cheap, your best bet is thrift stores.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought that jacket was made out of vinyl before reading in its description that it is indeed leather. Cheap leather? I'm sure Brad's jacket was probably $600 or something O_O

Fuck. AsSeenOnScreen.com used to be really good for getting this kind of novelty stuff. They used to actually source the manufacturers of the original products from clothing seen in films and stuff. Now they're just a wanky celebrity fashion shop.

Click the picture to enlarge. Vinyl doesn't have grain.

Yeah, thrift stores are good. I went through a phase (mostly from just hanging out w/my friend) where we wore a lot of thrift store clothes. I actually had a jacket kind of like that and found it at a thrift store. The other great thing is you'll find lots of other great stuff with totally unique style.

Not just leather, but a lot of older coats/jackets/suits were made to last (depending on the brand). My grandfather gave me his leather jacket he'd had for a long time. When you get quality, it will last you, leather or not.

Thrift stores eh? I think i'll give that a go.

I was actually gonna try and hit up some today but a severe tornado warning popped up till 9 tonight. Still, thrift stores are cheap, and I like my money.

Worst case scenario is that I don't find a similar jacket, and i'll end up dropping around $300 for that jacket by Specialty Vintage, mainly because it's pretty much spot on. This will only be a very last resort however.
