So, I know they've been halted, but what are the plans for team/scheme nights?

Ironically my team/scheme dudes are my highest level guys (well, highest hero/villain respectively, I have another hero higher than my villain.

But if they're not going to get played anymore and/or with more slots team/scheme moves to Virtue, I want to just transfer these guys over.

Well the slots thing kinda changes the picture. There won't be any pressing need to play on Victory. But I don't know how many folks will want to pay $10 to transfer their chars, regardless of extra slots. I was planning on transferring anyway once we hit 50 on our team nighters, so personally I don't mind transferring. But I also don't mind playing further on Victory.

All I know is that I really want to get my team night troller to 50. Whether it's on Victory or Virtue, I don't care. So I'm all for a reinvigoration of Team Night and Scheme Night, or a merged Team/Scheme RWZ Night for everyone 35+. And I think the regulars for both nights are all at or above 35, and getting other folks to that point in a couple separate sessions shouldn't be too hard.

I'm all for the return of Team/Scheme night. Part of me wants to bring my old guys over to Virtue but the other part of me doesn't want to pay the money to do so. I think the money side wins out.

I would like to play them again, though my Scheme Nighter only made it to lvl 20something.

    I like the look, Ein.

To pretty much everyone else, though: would anyone be interested in starting up a new SG?

I say it because the PA base - nice to look at as it is - takes god damned fucking forever to load and then still lags like hell even when it is loaded. I thought it'd be cool to create a SG with a base, coalition it to PA, and have the base consist of nothing but teleporters. No decorations or anything else, just teleporters so it's A) useful and B) loads quickly.

If we can get enough interest to sustain the upkeep costs, it'd be awesome.

Also, I hope costume customization allows for more than just the head. Although I assume Crabs are stuck with the legs since their attacks need it.

Serious reply now: I'd imagine that heroside, Academy's got to have a decent amount of prestige stored up. So maybe we turn that into our hero telehub base, since it's already coalitioned and everyone can already use it. Would only require the base editor(s) to switch SGs, assuming there's enough prestige. We'd need to factor in rent, because I know the free plot can't hold enough teleporters. Or even the porters available could be pared down to the most accessed zones, to really do this cheaply and without affecting prestige earning for the main SG. (Which could, at some future time, actually NEED prestige once there are more useful things to do with it and I'd hate to see it wasted.)

Villainside, I'd guess Social Entropy would have spare prestige to do the same, but I have no idea who has leader/base edit rights at this point.

And Scoot keeps his ritual sacrifice victims, so it's a win-win.

I hadn't thought about the loading times, I haven't been in a small base lately so I don't know how big of a time difference there is in the loading.
I just reogranized Affliction's base a little bit so that the TP room and Vault/IOCrafting rooms are both directly connected to the entrance. People can still go marvel at the wonders of the base if they want but shouldn't get lost at all now.

In that video I really like the poison darts but I'm not sure why.
I imagine most people will be going for the backpack but I'm interested in the Mace. I love that mace.

I can say that Black Mesa's base is the default plot size, four rooms, and loads just as fast as PA's on both my PC and laptop, so I really think size is negligible.

That said, I think it is way, way too easy to get lost in Allegory's base if you're doing anything but crafting or teleporting.

Well yeah but what else would you be doing?

If it loads just as fast as a small base and the TP/Crafting stuff is right off of the entrance room I don't see the downside in having a massive base to show of our collective e-peens. The fact that people get easily lost just reinforces how large our combined e-peens really are!
    e-peens uquals PENISolololo

Though I'm not opposed to trimming us down to a smaller, yet more powerful plot. We need more guns!

    You are crazy.
Have you not seen the lovely new* layout? The teleporters are on raised platforms with monitors below them. Each monitor has a unique picture and, if you click on or hover over it, a zone name appears. Whatever TPer is closest to the monitor will take you to that location.

*I recently re-did the Affliction TP room to use the same raised system that Scoot/Gear (don't recall who) came up with for Allegory because it is so much nicer than the old hanging on the wall stuff we had.

If there is a 4 set those are raid teleporters which you don't have to worry about. Every actual teleporter will have two beacons underneath which show the two zones it will go to.

Yeah, I think we can do this with Academy. Also, a while back Posi said in I12 being in SG mode will cut into influence to a max of 50%. Currently, after level 34, you earn no Inf while in SG mode, and thats supposed to be changing.

About Scheme/Team. I would love to bring them back, maybe in a unified form but I can't legitimately commit to a schedule myself. Week nights I'm pretty much only on after 8 or 9 Pacific.

    I really do.

I was cruising with my MM before I quit last summer but I hit a brick wall soloing. I could solo easily, it was a joke, just XP came to a screeching halt. That combined with people dropping out of Team/Scheme like flies, I decided to take a break.

I would really like to get at least one Hero and one Villain to 50.

    My characters are

    Virtue:
    'Nam - 28 - Scrapper
    Magnus Xavier - 22 - Mastermind

    Victory:
    Kingshand - 32 - Blaster
    Synchronic - 24 - Brute

So I have a lot of work to do to get 50's.

I think the Blood Widows are the Stalkerish ones, like hybrid Stalker Scrappers (less focus on stealth). Fortunatas are Dominators with a focus on range.
Crabs are Brutish with some range and Bane are a catch all...maybe.

We know Banes get ranged, melee, and pets (probably fire and forget pets) ontop of the abilities every Soldier gets to start with...though I'm wondering if your 24 specialization doesn't replace one of your regular lines. The video said Fortunatas lose their martial arts to concentrate on powers of the mind. So maybe your rifle gets replaced with a mace if you go Bane? I don't know, kind of doubt it, just a guess. Hopefully all the video means is Fortunatas stop learning new martial arts to focus on mind. It would be great to have a controller/blaster hybrid with some defensive abilities.
