The customization in this game just puts everything else out there to shame. The part where they show the user dynamically dragging out and growing hair, then styling it, is just insane.

There's nothing wrong with that. I usually make female characters when given the option. Games are usually too many dudes, and I'm like "Where's the boobies?"

Is this comming to 360 still?

I've always stuck with my own gender for the most part. That whole thing about staring at a woman's ass being more fun is bullshit; it's a videogame. I've never - yet - wanted to fuck anything I've seen in a videogame.

Well my comment was pending you can have multiple characters.

Though...I sadly look pathetic in that I have seen video game characters that I would fuck if given the opportunity and if they were real :O

If someone ever came out with some Universal Character Customization tool, and a number of games allowed you to import your model from it and use .

Any idea if there're gonna be real cars or Burnout-style Generic Car Brands in this? I think one trailer had a Nissan GTR, so I'd guess they're taking real cars.

So, about the custom music features:
    http://www.1337life.com/?p=2459

Last.fm will also be incorporated into the game. At any given time you can play the soundtrack you load via your last.fm account. While watching the video, a player drove by and you could hear music coming from that players car. IT was explained to us that we are not necessarily hearing exactly what that player is listening to, rather you are hearing the closest song in your own library to what they are hearing via music tags. In essence it will seem like everyone in your world will have the exact same taste in music as you do.

    Sounds good enough.

Will you be dealing out Justice from one mile away Flippy?

Thugs look up from their TV raid and see a blue dot slowly moving towards them. The first shot disables their vehicle engine. The second shot takes out the driver. The criminals drop the TVs and start running but by then it is too late...

Because you have just met The Snipah.

I'm hoping we get Police Helicopters in this game for rapid deployment to crime scenes and following chases, nothing would make me happier than dropping a SWAT team right on top of a crime scene.

If that Last.FM integration works well though, we should get a Penny Arcade list of approved tracks to play out of our radios so everyone knows what to look out for - every chase having a different police TV show theme tune!

I think I read at some point that if possible, the game would stream the exact track (or a similar one) from Last.fm even if you don't have it. Kinda sucks if the music you hear for other people will be limited to what you have on your own computer.

Seeing the level of destruction, i'd imagine they probably will have something quickly available like that. I'd put money on some sort of Organisation based storage as well - I.E your Police Headquarters or Criminal Hideouts will be a one stop shop for rearming and getting new vehicles.

It will be interesting to see how they handle rewards for Organisations, as a couple of the articles have hinted at bonuses for successful groups either taking over a territory or cleaning up that area.

And Willeth, I guess you might get a kick out of this, I found it accidently whilst looking for the Naked Gun intro movie.

Signed up for the beta, boyos. This is looking pretty interesting, and I will say that I'm glad we're going cops. Laying down the law as a group, bringing some serious teamwork to it, will make things more fun for us and for the criminals. Instead of, "Oh shit, here come some players from the other faction!" it'll actually be, "Oh shit, it's the cops!"

I honestly can't decide if i want to focus on Enforcers or Criminals in this game. The more i hear about it, the more intriguing it seems the Enforcers are... more of a hunt and find game... where you hunt criminals down.

Where as the criminals are more trying not to get caught ( that seems obvious ).

I kinda like the idea of coming down hard on some 15 year old urban gangster wannabe in the middle of his crime and ruining his day for being a complete douchebag. And the idea that there might be more mature, dangerous... and witty criminals out there to test my skill.

Hell ill just say it. Enforcer is the way to go.

God im glad i put together a new rig this summer. It will be perfect for running this game.
