I really don't know why Nidoqueen can't breed. That's some weird stuff.
The Panamian people I hang out with called Nidoking gay for not breeding with Nidoqueen... It's not his fault that the female is sterile :S Can Nidorina breed?
I have a good amount of Leppa berries if y ou want some.

I guess I was wrong earlier about putting a Nidoking with a Ditto and getting Females. You have to breed Nidoran F to have a chance at hatching Nidoran Male or Female.
I have a box of rejected Nidoran M and F, so I guess I must have already had a female for breeding. Sorry that my memory is so sketchy. and that Nido breeding is overly complicated. And that there isn't a guide explaining this at all. This is the best I could find, but it doesn't say anything specifically about breeding the males.
anyway I still have a bunch of Nidos M and F to give away if somebody wants one.
and I may as well ask while i'm here, Any early morning Battlers around? Or early afternoon for Kay.
I could use a Nidoran F, Ink. And that link does make some sense, as I'd forgotten Volbeat and Illuminise are in a similar situation as the Nidos. Though it doesn't answer why Gamefreak would do that to Nidoran male/female and Volbeat/Illuminise and not Tauros/Miltank. Though I suppose there would be concern that then Tauros would be able to use Endure/Reversal and Hammer Arm, among other things.
And I'd battle but sadly the reason I'm awake so early today is that I'm not at all feeling too good
This is awful, first I give out some false info and now I look in my box to find that i've released everything but 3 Nido Males because I needed the room and figured no one would want them. Argh!
I'm going to go capture a few in Leaf Green and transfer them over, just cause i'm annoyed with myself at the moment.
Now you need to level up a (whatever the other gender is) so IT also learns Head Smash, then breed a load so that we can all share the greatness! FROM LEVEL 1!

HAHAHAHAH
AND IT HASN'T MISSED YET
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
edit: Fucking Battle Tower, this is the third Girafarig in 4 battles. Go away!!
edit2: Head Smash missed! But then I came back and crushed it.
Yeah, if I had to breed Shroomish for Seed Bomb/Spore at level one, surely we can all share the Relicanth goodness! *crosses fingers*
And I notice the battle tower seems to like to go in streaks with its Pokemon. At least one of the Pokemon you battle in the first match of seven always seems to show up again and again afterwards. Not sure if that's just the 'random number' generator at work or if something else is going on.

I've had to breed for Spore as well. Not very fun.
Also leveling for Close Combat on Hariyama, Sky Uppercut on Blaziken, Tri Attack on Porygon-Z and tons of stuff on Lucario.
edit: Time to prove my worth. Will I defeat Palmer's Milotic?
Godammit. He puts Reli to sleep with Hypnosis when I try a Head Smash and then I go for Sleep Talk and wake up. Fucking hell.
edit2: Now that I have it asleep it's going to wake up immediately.
Holy shit it stayed asleep for three turns! Oh god it has barely any health left. Mach Punch GO!

Yeah. Like when Magneton and Tyranitar decide to show up over and over again, and Empoleon is weak to ground. GRRRR.
My Battle Tower bane is Double-Teaming Dusclops/Dusknoir. Mainly due to leading with Starmie, who will be KO'ed by the Shadow Sneak if I leave it in, but switching lets it get a DT off. I also hate the Curselaxes and DT/Protect/Toxic/Softboiled Blisseys, but at least I can consistently kill those.

Shoe, do you imply that you SOLD your Pokeymans away?!
For shame!
Status update: I've still yet to breed my newest guy, and since I've rethought my other one to include a move I can only get through breeding I have to rebreed it. Glad I didn't waste a One-Of TM on it yet, at least, since only its highest evolved form learns it. I shall try to get this all done between today and tomorrow, since I can feel a replay of Skies of Arcadia coming on, which will interfere with my Pokeymaning.
Aggril, Pokémon Stadium 2's Earl's Academy recommends using either a normal or electric Pokémon as the lead because they have the least weaknesses.
I guess EQ was not used as much in the GSC days, but it's still a nice recommendation for the Battle Tower. Using a fast Poké with few weaknesses and focus sash as the lead sounds good enough to me.
I dunno. Using Starmie/Tyranitar/Garchomp has given me a pretty decent overall strategy. Outside of the usual Battle Tower hax and abuse of things like lack of sleep clause and lack of evasion clause, I do pretty well. Starmie with an Expert Belt can handle a scary number of Pokemon, with T-bolt/Ice Beam/Surf/Psychic. T-tar admittedly is more there to start Sandstorm for Garchomp, but if I can get a Dragon Dance off it pretty much destroys anything that isn't naturally built to take physical hits. And Garchomp is the ultimate revenge killer, as with Choice Scarf it outruns pretty much everything and frankly aside from taking out steels with EQ or Fire Fang it doesn't need to do anything but Outrage.
That having been said, I notice that quite a few of the high level battle tower teams that have been posted at Smogon have normal type Pokemon (the most common normal type Battle Tower lead being, of all things, Swellow). I don't get how Electric could get away with what normal type does, though.. earthquake is a very very common attack, after all, even if its most electric type's only weakness.
I use Jolteon as a lead sometimes. Then again, it has HP Ice which, with a petaya berry, wrecks Palmer's entire team. Moreover since his Rhyperior is special based for some reason. o_O
I think its just proof Palmer really doesn't know what he's doing. His second 'legendary' team I find even easier to take down (of course, it helps that T-Tar can handle Cresselia and Heatran single handedly), not even counting the overall bizarre movesets. Regigigas would be a tough opponent, if Slow Start didn't utterly neuter it.
Though, does Jolteon have the power without the petaya berry boost to take out Milotic in one shot? I'd worry it would survive and start spamming Hypnosis all over the place. Starmie with Expert Belt is a 2HKO, though with Starmie I can just switch out to get rid of the sleep.
<edit> Wait, nevermind.. forgot that Jolteon can just subsitute to block the status. You'd think I'd know that by now :P

You're just jealous.
Reverted back to my old sig and avatar, since Lucario isn't as badass in Brawl as I expected. His Smash attacks are slow as tar and he doesn't have a spike. Plus, these were just better.
It does fit for all of us non-Brawl playing Poke-players, though.

Well, that's easy; live in America/Japan and own a Wii. Problem solved.
Damnit, none of these things are being female and Adamant! I need it to be both to breed some moves onto it while passing the nature, but all the Adamant ones have been male!
Man, I don't care how UU Pokémon Trainer and Lucario are, I just have to try them.
And Lucario looks very good from the videos I've seen. Although watching and playing is different, but tastes also differ from individual to individual.

Apparently PT is pretty kickass. Charizard is a monster, Squirtle is good and Ivysaur is mediocre.

Well, he is tons better than Mewtwo ever was, but I just don't like him as much as Toon Link or Pit. Trainer's good, it's just that Ivysaur kinda sucks. Charizard and Squirtle are awesome, though.
He might, but he just sucks so much that I've yet to look for it.
They should've included their Shiny versions as a color change, but nooo, they had to give them blue, red, green, and white hues instead.
Another male?! Screw you, game!
I was so surprised none of the Pokemon have shiny variants in Brawl.

Yeah, who over at Nintendo hates black Charizards and reverse-schemed Lucarios?
FINALLY, an Adamant female.
Damn, on of the moves is only learned through leveling up, and I forgot that you need to have the move on both parents to pass it in that case. Ah well, I'll just have to level up some more.

I'm sorting out some IV checks I've just done on PBR, then I could put something together. I still need to beat Chen's Water Gym, I realise.

Getting close.
So very close.
edit: Also a little something I learned last night: Struggle has no typing. I used it against Cynthia's Spiritomb and hit it.
