    Spaceballs
    UHF
    This is Spinal Tap
Dead Alive - only the unrated version which I think is all you can get these days.
    Undead

Pretty much everything Drez listed. Spaceballs, UHF, the Bill and Ted movies, and Better Off Dead are probably the movies I've rewatched the most out of any movies in any genre.

Do you have any types of comedy you especially do or do not like? I tend to gravitate towards low brow and slapstick humor oriented stuff which your "the cleverer the better" comment suggests may not be what you're looking for. I still say you should see the movies I listed and the movies Drez listed, though.

Hmm, I am pretty open to pretty much anything.

I love Monty Python (and have seen all their films many times over)
I have seen all of Simon Pegg's films liked them all.
Seen all of Wes Anderson's films, loved them all.
    Love Bill And Ted.
    Love the Coen Brothers films.
Love Weird Al but had never heard of UHF till I wiki'd it. I am going to have to watch that now.
    Snatch was very funny too.
    Loved Office Space.
This is Spinal Tap is genius

Other funny stuff I like - Aqua Teen Hunger Force (seen the film and laughed so hard throughout), Harvey Birdman, South Park, Team America, The Office (UK), Invader Zim, Spaced, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain,

I don't like Ryan Reynolds, Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler, and/or any films I have seen them in. Spaceballs was funny in parts, but not really what I am in the mood for.

Also, I think you may need to watch Meet The Parents even if you don't like Ben Stiller. I find it hard to believe that anyone can watch that movie without loving it.
