This weekend, I picked up some Cat 5e ethernet cable to run from my router to the TV switch box. The cable itself plugged in just fine, like any other Cat 5 cables I've used. However, I can't seem to unplug the little bastard from either the router or the switchbox.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a recalitrant cable out of a socket without breaking the socket?
The clip isn't stuck. It's fully depressed while I'm trying to pull the plug out. I'll keep working at it. I'm just concerned I'll damage the router and the switchbox trying to pry that cable out on both ends.

Just yank it, the worst that can happen us that you end up picking the now wireless head out using pliers.
