    My Demicanadian Shiv-knight just hit lvl 18 and I picked up a +3 Pronged Invisible Sword. Should be able to stealth up on noobs real easy with it! I've got a kevlar helm to protect me from the Battle-Finch headshot racial.

    That's the most important choice you'll make in the game.

    You should probably have gone with a DemiCanadian Hunter Stranger, though.

    Also, you guys know strength is the most important starting stat, right? It determines how much you can carry, so there's less downtime from killing.

    Ok, so I've been playing since yesterday (just hit 29, just one more to go before I can do the Surly Pirate Tony Award Afterparty raid!), and I've gotta say... I'm pretty pissed.

    I looked at my Task Manager to see how many resources PQ was taking up and come on, 1.5MB of RAM? Are you fucking kidding me? That's like, nearly 1/1000 of my RAM. Seriously, could the devs have been any lazier, letting their client bloat like this? I understand that it's a lot of side processes to prevent duping and hacks, but still, cut us legit players players a little slack.

    And don't even get me started on the DX10 requirements for graphical mode.

    Nerfing Gyp! Ugh, and after I levelled it up to VI! They could at least implement free respecs for birdriders or something if they're going to nerf the class this hard.

    As long as they don't change the stun duration on seasick I should still be ok for pvp though, the QQ on the official forums over it is a load of bull. OP my ass!

    Yeah, unfortunately the PVP on the new server seems pretty dead so far. Hopefully after the next patch it will pick up, since there'll be no queue to get in the BGs.

    I just got Gyp IV :( I was working on V, but if they're going to nerf it, I might as well go for another skill.

    Well for the longest time Good Move was really my only move but after experimenting with my latest rank of Lockjaw I'm a changed Enchanted Motorcycle-man.

    Oh, and fuck Gyp. It was way OP and you know it. I was fucking around with it and I took out a Panda Man Ur-Paladin in like two hits. A Panda Man Ur-Paladin for Christ's sake. It need to be nerfed.

    That early on I found Seasick pretty useful, got it up to rank V before I decided to switch into the higher end stuff like the Cone spells. And I am level 16 almost and it is still my most useful spell.

    It's either Strength or Dexterity.

    Hard to tell, I've been keeping them basically even.

    I guess that makes sense then. My main 3 stats are Int, Str, and Cha in that order so just about everything but Rabbit Punch (based on Dex) does pretty nice damage.

    I heard about Seasick, but I don't feel link grinding those birds to get the quest that starts that mission to get that skill, you know?

    I'll have to look into Rabbit Punch. My STR is at about 60 (so I can carry all that lewt)

    Also does anybody has problems with the graphic spell effect of Ursine Armor ? I know I am running it near max settings, but the slowdown that it causes can be horrendous. And strangely it is the only spell that does this. I hope a new patch will fix this soon because it is so annoying.

    You have to uninstall and reinstall the texture pack that came with the game. You should be able to google it.

    If you had problems with those just wait till you get to the Lurkers later on. I never had problems with Cheese Elementals BTW, are you sure you specced right ? Bastard Lunatics are notoriously hard to spec especially after the latest patch where they nerfed them quite a bit. I say check out a guide (a recent one) on how to spec them, otherwise expect to die an awful lot.

    I think this site has the best guide, although I am not that keen on the site itself, with the fan fiction section and all D:

    Holy crap, a cardboard golem just dropped a +2 Cambric Pleathers. I was going to sell it, but I didn't have anything but vendor trash in my solleret slots yet, and I figured these would keep me for a while.

    Anyone finding that the tooltip for Cone of Annoyance doesn't change from rank II to rank III?
