Why does everyone hate ctrl alt del?

I mean, I hate it because the art is copy-pasta and it lacks any kind of funny, but I think I saw a newspost where Gabe talked smack about it and it's creator, and on Biggerthancheeses they have a whole section about how Absath is a nazi and has a martyr complex, etc.
I'm just wondering if there was some big web-comic war that ctrl alt del lost, or if the creator is just a dick to everyone else in the community or what?

Except for this one storyline where a boy grows old and dies playing video games and goes to video game heaven, basically. That was creepy.

1. Tim Buckley is a hack, and the fact that he is allowed to live off his "art" is a slap in the face of actual artists, actual webcomics, and people with actual jobs. Also, one time he showed his dick to an underage girl on his forums, and then deleted them to cover it up.
