I live in a college dorm and I have a hefty DVD collection. I love carrying it around, but at the same time it can be a pain in the ass to carry it around. So I've been looking at backing it up. I would love to have em all on a harddrive, because not only would I have the originals at home to help prevent theft, but it would make moving around so much easier.
So how do I do it? I got a decrpyter, and I got Handbrake. Handbrake however, will seem to rip a movie with either video OR sound. Not both! And I am at a loss. I'm using TVersity to stream video to my 360, so however I can rip my movies into a format that supports would be great.
I rip using DVD decrypter, then use handbrake to convert to whatever format I like.
I tried handbrake. It's the one being stupid and getting either audio or video. What settings do you use?
I've heard good things about that "fair use dvd" thing. I'll try that out. Any specific settings?

I believe there is a tutorial on that same website.
It converts the movies into a nice 700mb avi file.
