The dealership is offering to sell us a new 2007 (not a 2008) Kia Spectra, full 5 year warranty from date of purchase. Unfortunately, Edmunds.com doesn't list prices for new 2007 Kias, only 2008 kias. How can I find out what a new (not a used) 2007 should go for?

The '08 model doesn't appear to have any major changes, so you could probably estimate the markup on the '07 model to be similar to the '08 model. Spec out an '08 model at edmunds and you're close.

About how close, would you say? Maybe $500 less for an '07 (all other things being equal)?

Given it's segment of the car market, I don't think the invoice price went up $500 (I'd say $200 max for the base model, but that's pure speculation). Though the weakening dollar may have forced Kia to make price increases (I haven't been tracking this car). That just tells you how much the dealer paid for it. If it's an '07 then it's likely been sitting on lots for 6+ months. Or perhaps it's a demo?
You should get a good deal on it. You might do better in your negotiations if you NOT consider this car as being a "new" car, but rather it being a very lightly-driven used car (because if you had to sell it the day after you bought it, anyone reading your ad would think you car is 1+ yr old).
Yeah, this car has been sitting on a lot somewhere for almost a year at this point. They should be giving you a screaming deal (maybe even invoice) to get the thing off of the lot.
Kia Spectra 07 EX with 77 miles on it, remote keyless entry/keyless starter and rear spoiler () as extras, $15000 with $1000 cash back, and 1.9 APR financing for 60 months. Is that an OK deal?
