Excel Macro bugging me

I installed some [legit] software. Part of the install installed a Excel plugin.

I didn't like the software, I uninstalled it; but yet the Macro part (in Excel) stays.
Every work book I open has it. I don't think it's malice, just that it had a bad uninstaller.

I just hit disable every time. Optimally I would like to just get rid of this macro:

Is the dll file still there or did the uninstaller remove it? You could try manually unregistering it.

    regsvr32 -u <path>\<filename>.dll

In truth, you can probably just delete the file outright without doing any harm. Try moving or re-naming it first to see.

It may be trying to register itself as an add-in. Open Excel, click Tools > Add-Ins..., and make sure it's unchecked.
