Pain when I yawn

So in the last three days, I have noticed that sometimes when I yawn I get this tightening from my chin to my neck, and it hurts when I try to close my mouth.

It has happened three times now (once every day), so I'm just wondering whats up.

    If I'm looking down when I yawn, I get a pain similar to what you are describing, like a gland was pushed out of place and is stuck. If I sort of look up when I yawn it doesn't happen.

    I know exactly what you're talking about, but, it happens when I open my mouth wide, not just yawning.
