Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 08 (DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, XB360)
With the Pro Evolution Soccer series renowned for its fluid, realistic gameplay, the new game builds on the implementation of Teamvision with additional key advances. As with previous releases since its inception in 1996, the ball is again treated as a separate entity, with the timing of shots entirely down to the player, while the new AI ensures that defenders work to close down space and block efforts on goal. Similarly, distribution of passes works along the same lines, with players using the space available to them to switch the ball. Close control has also been enhanced with more control when dribbling the ball, and a number of subtle moves added to bypass defenders and move the ball into space.

Groups of ships with carriers are a powerful force capable of not only to conduct operations at sea, but also to support the large ground operations (supported by carrier-based aircrafts and large-caliber on-ship guns). Submarines and aviation hunting enemy's transport ships caravans - Using different types of submarines in special operations, one can make sudden strikes on transports and battle ships of opponents; if the strike succeeds, the enemy will lose part of the reinforcement, and will lose opportunity to have significant navy. Radar systems allow players to more successfully defend of air and naval attacks of opponents. [Fireglow]

Lost Empire: Immortals (PC)
Long ago the immortal Aeons presented the fledging races with the technology to travel the stars. Without pause for reasoning, vast fleets colonised the cosmos expanding the interstellar community until a great cataclysm occurred. Now the Aeon’s, a technologically superior race that once guided the lesser races, is all but lost to myth. Their colonies and technology lie beyond reach - scattered throughout the galaxy, like so many stars. Only fading memories recall the cause of the Aeons downfall and the loss of the star-gates that ended the first Galactic War. Devoid of the means to navigate the stars, the empires of the six major races began to look inwards as communication between worlds was lost. From the depths of the abyss, the long forgotten desire for exploration and conquest calls out once again. For it would only be a matter of time before each race would: recover the knowledge to rebuild their fleets, reawaken their desire to explore, rekindle their need to expand and return to warring ways. As the six galactic empires make ready for the arduous struggle ahead, all manner of citizens are rallied to the cause. Scouting expeditions leave the safety of their stellar berths seeking out potential systems ripe for colonisation. Close behind terra-forming ships prepare planets for swelling populations. Throughout countless shipyards powerful battle-fleets are forged from newly acquired resources, ready to face the threats that emerge with every cycle of the sun. A new age has arrived. The Age of Immortals has descended upon the fledging empires of the known galaxy. Will you dominate or be destroyed? [Paradox Interactive]

I had no idea the PSP Ratchet & Clank was getting ported to PS2. That's great news. Maybe we'll get Daxter eventually too.

    Already got Brawl.

GF is getting House of the Dead and Rings of Fate.

I may pick up Insecticide and/or Nanostray 2 if they get good reviews.

Edit question: Does Rings of Fate have single card multiplay?

According to IGN, they say that Crystal Chronicles is multi-card only for multiplayer. They say the reason for this is because each person creates and customizes their own character, and it is saved to their local card with their stats and such as they play multiplayer.

My hopes spiked briefly when I saw Seven Kingdoms, but then realized it's not related to ASOIAF. :(

But my Smash Bros. comes tomorrow so yay.

I might pick up the House of the Dead collection since I just got a Wii and a zapper last week. I'm also considering Wild Arms and the new Crystal Chronicles, though the latter looks pretty disappointing, in my opinion.

    Stupid Majesco.

Nanostray 2 was supposed to come out on March 11.

But no stores have the game yet. According to Gamestop and Fry's, it's being "shipped" right now. GS's website shows 3/13 as the ship date, today, so I'm hoping it'll be on shelves tomorrow.

    dammit.

My entire day tomorrow is busy. Don't have time to go by a store to pick this up. I was planning on having Nanostray 2 available to play on this trip, but nooo.. not sure I'll have the chance to get it until afterwards. Bah we'll see.

I did manage to get House of the Dead 2+3 today though.

I'd be interested in knowing what you think of Nanostray 2, I picked up the first one and was kind of disappointed. Very pretty, but not much in the way of depth. Based on the description it sounds like they fixed that, but I'm still a bit wary.

Nanostray 1 is a lot more fun once you start playing and beating the Missions. It actually takes a lot of skill and strategy to pass most of the missions; but once you figure out the trick to the multiplier it gets more fun.

I'll make a thread or post in a thread if one exists once I finally manage to get Nanostray 2, since no stores have recieved the shipment yet.

I picked up FF:CC & SSBB day 1. I'm thinking of the house of the dead title... any impressions thus far?

Aside from regular complaints of having teh kiddi characters to start out with, I REALLY like the gameplay on FF:CC. Took everything good about FF:CC GC and added some platforming and zelda elements to make it stellar. I'm about an hour in, and it's perfect for me.

SSBB is amazing, and anyone who says it isn't should be punished. I've only played it on 3 seperate occasions @ friends do to DRE, but being a long time fan of the series, I can't see any reason why it should not be in every wii players library.
