I concur with all these suggestions (though all 3 bands are very uneven, especially Incubus) and would like to add Faith No More (they blend genres like a buffet, the later albums are more "pure" rock than the early stuff).
I really dig that first one. Any other suggestions for music similar to that?
Hmm...nothing really pops into my head. Let's see what slacker.com has to say about it. I don't know exactly how the related searches are done, but I'm guessing that will be more miss than hit. I'm not familiar with everyone in the list though, so maybe there will be a few gems.

Queens of the Stone Age are as much new as they are old in terms of what their music sounds like.
If you don't mind looking at some classics (there are tons to look at), I could recommend:
Led Zeppelin
Rolling Stones
The Doors
The Yardbirds
The Who
Rush
Deep Purple
Pink Floyd
I second every band on this list if you're willing to delve into the great era. As mentioned, a lot of the great classic rock bands are not just for great for that one single that gets played a million times (i.e. Stairway to Heaven) but also for the metric f-ton of hidden greats (like Ten Years Gone or Over the Hills and Far Away).
BUT
With the two bands you mentioned and a desire for more recent music, I most whole heartedly suggest The Black Keys. Look them up, do it. Classic blues rock sound, but a current band still making music. Probably one of the closest bands to both Wolfmother and The White Stripes, though I tend to prefer Black Keys. They occasionally find their way into my car stereo and it startles me how much I enjoy it when I turn my car on.

Here you can listen to the latest album (which, imho, is pretty tame compared to the previous ones).
