I preordered this game after playing it at the GDC. Definitely worth the money. You get to play the first few levels before the game is released if you preorder too. Everything is great about this game from the concept, to the art, and the music and sounds.

I played the original Tower of Goo and I didn't see the appeal, are there any notable changes that would make me change my mind here?

    Off their main site:
Complimentary Profanity Pack TM to replace
voices in the game with ambiguous naughty words. F**k!

That makes this game awesome. Period.

It's a full platform game, not just the one-screen "build a tower" of the original / demo.

20 bucks seems a bit steep to be honest. That's the price of portal ... it looks kind of fun though, but i'd need to play it to be convinced. Tower of goo was fun for no more than about a minute.

This looks like it uses the same physics as Sodaplay.

I preordered and played the limited version and I can tell you it is way more compelling than the tower of goo minigame. This one seems easier to control, there are several different kinds of a goo balls, there are lots of obstacles to overcome, and each level has unique art. The presentation is top-notch.
