Also Ive got a Great Hall Scroll I'm not sure what to do with, and a Blank Scroll Ive not used yet.
It seems kind of useless in itself, "Yeah, I can turn the whole level into one room!?" but it actually can come in handy in lots of sneaky combinations.
-Scrolls of Sleep, Blastwave, Confusion, etc. work only on the monsters in the same room but think what would happen if the whole level were just one room.
-Is there a shop on the level with some good stuff? Make it one huge room and the shopkeeper will stand on the stairs if you pick anything up. Just grab all of the cool items and swap spaces with the shopkeeper when you are ready to leave the level. You'll be gone before the alarm is sounded!
-Is there some inaccessible area on the level like a treasure vault or little island with items? I think you see where this is going.
i find making a scroll of removal is great for the monsters you fight on particular levels... dont like rice changers? they all leave. hate polyons? bye guys. ect.

Wait, what exactly does this removal scroll do? Does it permanently delete an enemy?
So I finally decide that I'm really going to go for saving that little lost girl. I managed to carefully shepherd her through the mines and caves - some of my other companions bit the dust, but the girl was still fine. So the level before the town, I enter a room. Stairs! She's as good as saved! ... And a tank. Which kills the girl - 3 steps from the stairs, levels up, and then makes short work of my Shiren (mostly because I was pissed due to losing the girl and just attacked it instead of using my items0.
But that was really only the start.
I get myself rescued, and start making my way backwards through the dungeon so I can stow my gear - I'd acquired a fair number of things to pop into a melding jar by this point.
I hit the first stairway. Wow, where did the items come from? I thought when you went backwards there weren't any items.
Oh crap. Monster house.
Somehow I clear the monster house - used up a confusion scroll, a postponement staff, and made use of a fair amount of retreating into a corridor - and had to press the chiropractic jar that had been left in my rescue twice. In the end, I managed to clear the house and escape to the stairs. Close thing though, and I exhausted a lot of items.
The next level is easy, no real problems. I hit the stairs and...
Another monster house. I'm royally screwed now.
The only item I have left worth anything against a room full of enemies is a scroll of sleep... But there's no way I can clear the room while it's still in effect, and I'm dead meat if the enemies are hasted. The stairs are in the current room, but way on the other side - there's no way I can reach them in time. Resigned to another rescue request, I try to make my way as far across the room as I can without getting hit.
And then I get incredibly lucky. I get hit by a bone staff - and warped randomly to the other side of the room. I'm still in big trouble - but now if I use my sleep scroll I just *might* be able to get to the stairs while I'm still alive.
I hit the scroll, and make a run for it. I don't have time to swing my sword before each new step, so I'm praying I don't hit any traps...
I hit the stairs right when the scroll wears off and everything in the room gets hasted. Luckily, nothing can get in range in one turn, and I (barely) escape.
tl;dr; While trying to run back after being rescued, I ran into not one, but two monster houses and only barely survived.
Okay...wow. I don't know if the Old Mine is a Monster House or just packed to the brim with scary strong enemies, but I got warped about 5 times into groups of Tiger Uhos and Death Reapers. I died shortly after. Rescue, please?
Now I need to be lucky and find a god damned Warehouse Jar so I can save my Minotaur's Axe... I want to combine that thing with a Master Sword and Razor Wind, and a couple others(Any suggestions?) but getting one back to Canyon Hamlet, Mountaintop Town, or Cryptic Rock Valley is hard as fuck because Ive only found them off Minotaurs after the point of no return. Do couriers ever show up after that? And seriously, how the fuck rare are those damn Warehouse jars?
Just to reiterate, anyone able to attempt a rescue for me on floor 28? It's telling me there's a wanderer on the way, but it's been doing that for hours now, no rescue yet. On 'to anyone' the code on wi-fi is 0000-0000-2042
Also, if you happen to be able to leave me a Chiropractic Jar, that could help.

I've only found two storehouse jars. I don't remember where I got them, but if they're that rare, they must drop pretty deep in the dungeon. If you want to hunt for stuff after the point of no return, what you can do is accept a rescue request down there; when you finish, you'll automatically warp back to the beginning.

Oh, shit, awesome idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

Should I be trying to beat all of Fay's Puzzles before leaving the first town?
You don't need to, but they do point out some tricks that are useful. I do suggest doing a couple to get extra food. Do a puzzle, then go to the bar and get a rice ball from the barman. Store the rice ball and won item in the storehouse are repeat till you have enough food to let you scour the beginning dungeons. Now just farm the beginning 4 ( or 8) levels till you have some quests done and have a decent shield and sword. The extra food the puzzles give you means each time you start from the beginning again you don't have to worry about starving.
I somehow have ended up with 24 uses of Chiropractic Jar on me this run.
My inventory is seriously overflowing with Jars...
And not a single Storehouse. I think I've only ever seen one Storehouse Jar - and I died and lost it.
Probably my best run I've had yet - but I'm really worried about going beyond the point of no return with my good equipment, as I'd have no sure way of sending it back.
My so far most successful run just ended at level 28. My team members had all already died floors before, but having solved all of Faye's puzzles, the floors from 20-25 felt almost easy. I had so many holding pots that about 3 were completely empty.
The red reaper enemies are bastards, and my chiropractic jars finally ran out.
Just made it to Stream Village for the first time - even though I ditched all of my good equipment at the Storehouse right before No Return.
I fought my way through the first part of Table Mountain with a Pickaxe. I think I'd have done a bit better with my real stuff, I just didn't want to lose it...
I'm still awaiting rescue on floor 28 (hoping to maybe finish Table Mountain, but this is my last potential rescue), it's out on wi-fi to anyone as 0000-0000-2042 but I'll go ahead and leave the password in case potentials don't have wi-fi available:

Please to save me! I could certainly use a big rice ball as well, if you happen to have one.
Level 13 or 14, a tank leveled up twice after killing me and Oryu. It's red. I totally should have used a staff or something. Anyway, I'm dying to get back to searching for the missing girl to unlock the storage place!

Whoops, anyone want to resque me? I wound up on a wide hall level without any room-clearing items. So I used a power-up scroll and worked my way to the stairs. I was actually doing pretty well, till a inferno got between me and a tank. Did you know that infernos split three, four ways when hit with explosives? The twelve infernos that followed me to the stairs made sure I learned this fact. Made it to the stairs with a sliver of health, and then ran into a reaper on the previous level I ran to. I'm on level ten or eleven if I remember right.

Still waiting for a save. Monster houses on 40 and 50.

I'll take a go at it in a minute if nobody is on it yet.
Edit:
God%@$* stumble traps. Broke my 5 slot melding jar on my way back to the storehouse. Out 7500 Gitans....

Nah, that had nothing to do with you - hit a stumble trap on my way back to Canyon Hamlet while trying to get my Melding Jar to the storehouse.
Won't bother with the rescue then

Posing this question again.

You don't really need to do all of them before leaving the town.
Just do a few and get some scrolls and herbs for the next adventure. Just complete them whenever you come back to the canyon hamlet.
Oh ya, this sucks. The barkeep at Canyon Hamlet won't give me anymore Big Riceballs after I beat Table Mountain

Level 50... I have no idea if anyone's going to catch up to you, haha.
EDIT: Oh, my first low-floor death. Missed hitting a Snaky twice and got sacked. Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not...
If possible, I could use a Chiropractic Jar if you happen to have an extra at that point. I'm out of healing items.
Haven't got an ounce of food on me. The tons of chiropractic jars? All gone.
I don't even have a *weapon*. I haven't seen a weapon on the floor since.. since... floor 5?
I'm definitely going to die... But I haven't used a rescue yet. Maybe, just maybe... there's a hope of salvaging this.
EDIT:
Starved to death.
Rescue number is 0000-0000-2119
Level 29 of Table Mountain. Food would be greatly appreciated.

I also submitted a request for help from anyone via WFC. It gave me this number: 0000-0000-2124
Did I screw up by requesting it both ways? Will it let me revive using either? How does that work?

Ugh, thanks for the try. God there are some annoying enemies in this game.
