Oddworld: Strangers Wrath is fantastic , it's more of an action game, but has some light RPG elements.

I couldn't get into Fable at all, but that sounds like the kind of thing you are looking for.

I've played Fable, been thinking about getting Fable the Lost Chapters, just don't know if the extra content is worth it.

    All right, go to www.gamerankings.com

    Click on The Rankings

Click on the Drop-down menu next to Platform, select Xbox 360.

Click on the Drop-down menu next to Category, select Role-Playing >> All

Click on the Drop-down menu next to Limit Results To, select 30.

    Press "Go!"

Agh, how could of I have forgotten about Mass Effect. I too would reccomend to anyone with a 360, but I got that release day, and took care of that also. If it was up to me, my memory would be erased so I could play it all over again.

These are the 360 rpgs I'm aware of:

    Eternal Sonata
    Blue Dragon
    Enchanted Arms
    Lost Odyssey
Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (ARPG)
    Phantasy Star Universe
    Final Fantasy XI
    Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    Two Worlds
    Mass Effect
    Marvel: Ultimate Alliancec

I'd recommend most of thse, maybe with the exception of Two Worlds unless you like grinding and such. Its kind of clunky, but if you can take it, its quite good.

Yeah, the list was kind of bare. Sorry to change the topic so fast, but the main thing I was interested was open worlds. Any open world game will do. I'll proably pick up Fable TLC for my rpg needs.

    Crackdown, Crackdown, Crackdown.

Oh, and get Crackdown while you're at it.

Why make a new topic when I can use an old one? 8-) Seriously though, the reason I asked about rpgs in the first place is because some of them have open worlds, and that's what I'm interested in.

To be helpful though, the best 'open world' game I can think off is Sid Meir's Pirates. It's splendid.

And if you've changed topic again, then Outrun 2. Because.

Crackdown, how much is it? Is it cheap now? And while we're at it, any other games?

    Saints Row.

    It's targeting system doesn't suck.

If you can get past the shitty story and dialogue, Saint's Row is a great game.

Also, Crackdown, as has been previously mentioned. If you can find a copy of Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, that is pretty good too.

Also Spider-Man 2 (I haven't played 3, but I hear it's basically more of the same with extra pretties, so maybe that), Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Scarface is surprisingly good

Just Cause is another one. I picked it up for 15$ at ebgames and I gotta say its the best 15$ I've spent in a long time. The gameworld is absolutely amazing in size. Rather empty but still the scale of it is incredible.

Is there a demo of Just Cause on the 360?

If so, just get that, seriously.
