I like to play scrabble, but I've never seen someone playing a game on an ipod and I'm curious to know how the games are played and whether it's enough fun to be worth buying the game. For reference I have an 80GB classic.
I think most people here are using DSs and PSPs for portable gaming. If they're really hard up, maybe Sudoku on a cell phone?
Some of the games seem like they'd be pretty cool w/ the scroll wheel. But yeah, if I want to play a game on the go, I grab a portable game console, to supplement my iPod. Not just the iPod.
Maybe I'm a bad iPod user, though. Mine supports games & video & shit, but I just use it for music.
I'm not really big into gaming on the go for the most part, but I'm getting on a plane in a couple weeks and I'd like to have something to play. I think I'll just snag scrabble and try it out. It's only 5 bucks anyway, and if I don't like it then I'll just watch a movie or something.
From what I've heard, Peggle is the best iPod game. Hence, it's the only one I've bought. And it is good and completely worth $5. Works perfectly with the wheel like not many other games could.
