Go into your Hangar, select your mech, then select an individual body part. In the lower left you'll see a series of colored boxes. Click one and the body part will change to that color. Rinse, repeat.

So I try to create a new Exteel account tied to my pre-existing play NC account and as the instructions say, I type verbatim my exact master account name. And what error do I get everytime I try to type it in?
"Account names for this game must match the PlayNC Master Account name."
I keep getting some error whenever I play. Every time it happens it switches to 640 res and it won't allow me to switch back to my original res till I restart my computer. Had it happen twice, so I don't think I'll be playing it till I figure out a solution somewhere along the line.
Oh ho, rockets shoot a lot farther then cannons. By the way, love the rocket launchers. Besides for damage, it's better than cannons in pretty much every way.
Tried this when it was in beta but quit when everyone, and you may think I am joking, but EVERYONE used SMG's because they were so retardedly overpowered. Is that still the case?
From what I've played, I'd say that a good 3/4ths of the playerbase use SMGs as their primary weapon.
They nerfed the best SMGs since beta, so to answer your question I'd assume most of the people that are still using SMGs either do it because of the skills associated with them, or they still like the new, balanced, SMGS.
edit: And as far as weapon variation goes, there's not much to choose from anyways.
I don't know if it's changed from the original beta, but as a warning, do not sell your newbie gear. It doesn't need repairs, and selling it all for a super robot and awesome gun, will just result in it all needing repairs you can't afford.
The repair bills for higher level stuff was rediculous, almost the same as just rebuying the item. I think I was at the point where I could play for 5 hours, winning every match, and just barely be able to repair my cannon, and not my mech.

So I played a few matches. God people suck. I'm hopping around in my newbie mech and I consistently place top 3 in 16 man death matches. That are open for all. People running around with laser guns and beam sabers and whatnots. I'll just stick with my trusty SMGs.
Their ftp is fucking horse shit that sucks cocks in the ass. Four times has the download froze on me and twice of which I had less than a minute to finish downloading.
Are you sure it was a cannon? Rockets are the only things I've seen hit close range like that, and they look kind of the same. With that, fuck rockets.
Theres a create tab above the chat room, just type "PA" and you'll end up in the chat room. Yes, its stupid that they don't have a join channel option. Also, the setup for the chat and the waiting room reminds me of gunbound.

Yeah it was more than likely a rocket. They are cannons with no lockon required to fire, you can move and fire at the same time, and do nearly the same damage.
I think they have less range and definatly overheat faster though.
They were only slightly less overpowered than SMG's back in the day, but no one ever caught wind of it. Probably considered them cannons and never tried them.
I was always disapointed this game never got a cannon sized minigun, always thought it would be a cool weapon for this style of gameplay.
I guess I should download this and see if my account is still active/it has improved any.

My shortcut doesn't work, and when I try the actual .exe it loads and tells me it doesn't get a connection to the server
