all's i know is that when i turned my system on however long ago i was online, i had to patch rock band.

i was online earlier today before work, so its not like i missed one somewhere, so i dunno.

looking at the store so far it seems pretty cool, but it is missing an option to add songs to a cart and buy them all at once. just a minor peeve though. just bought war pigs, NIN pack 1, and beethoven's c***... any other music suggestions for someone with my extremely nerdy taste in music?

Okay, so I got the music store update, and it's super great and amazing and blah blah.

But now I'm mad because the store has such a great interface. In the store, if you change the sorting of the song list, the cursor stays on the song you have selected, making it super-easy to find whatever you're looking for. But the in-game music list always goes back to the beginning of the list whenever you change the sorting. Plus you've got all this great stuff like the album art and the album title.

The game interface needs to be updated to be like the music store, dammit.

Edit: Teehee. It seems that any packs that show up on the "New Releases" section are listed under "NO_ARTIST".

Edit: Teehee two. The Grateful Dead Pack's album image says "Greatful Dead".

The patch coming out just before I take everything to my brother's place for a Rock Band weekend = win. I doubt we'll have much time when everyone is playing on Expert, and maybe a lot of time with someone on Medium, but the BWT changes will be nice either way.

I love the new store. It's so much better than flipping through the Xbox Live store to find the songs. I love the little previews and the scale of difficulty it gives you. I won't be abandoning my usual ritual of "Check Youtube First" but this is really a love note from HMX to the community. "Thank you for giving us your money, give us more with this new and convenient way!"

The evil (brilliant) masterminds at harmonix win again, as always. They totally just got me to purchase MORE DLC just because I could SEE THE COVER OF THE ALBUM.

That has NOTHING to do with the quality of the song, but somehow, looking in the store, I saw "Complete Control", which I had always been on the fence about, and seeing that the guitar was a little harder than I'd guessed (never took the time to YouTube it), and than seeing the album cover - it all just became WAY MORE REAL. Suddenly it went from 'a song floating in space that you potentially could rock with friends...if you want to go catch it.' to 'THIS IS A PIECE OF MUSIC, OF ARTWORK, RIGHT HERE. RIGHT NOW.'

I dont even have time to play it before work...

Wow, the store is pretty cool. It definitely beats the 360 market place. However, I was really hoping that the preview option would give you a preview of the note charts, rather than just how the songs sounds.

They could cut down the number of necessary videos by doing them in Band play, being able to watch a full band on Easy, Medium, Hard, or Expert, only 4 videos needed instead of 16

or you just preview expert or hard on each one like the videos Activision releases to preview their Guitar Hero III packs.

My friend request to PA Rock Band and the allDLC are still pending - if anyone could help me with that, I'd appreciate it. I've been getting into the band online thing WAY more lately, and with 80% of the DLC, it gets so frusterating not being able to play anything but the same 4 songs people pick over and over again.

BWT cuts it down to 4 videos, which wouldn't be that hard to do at all.
