RULES
1. Every round will last exactly 24 hours. If a match still hasn't happened by then, it will be counted as a tie and neither side will earn points.
2. Every person entered in the tournament MUST have their custom rules set to three stocks, all items set to medium frequency, and team attack turned ON (for doubles). Your Random Stage switch can be whatever you want, since odds are you won't be picking stages randomly. Just keep in mind that ALL stages are legal for this tournament.
3. You may not use any character other than the two you have locked yourself into.
4. Every match is best two out of three fights. You may switch your character at any time between fights, so long as it's only to the other character you've chosen.
5. This tournament is round-robin style. Every time you win a match, you'll earn a point for both yourself and your forum. Everyone will have fought everyone else from the opposing forum half-way through the tournament, so the winning forum will be decided then. The winning player won't be decided until the end.
6. In doubles, for the sake of simplicity, the team on the left side of the bracket will ALWAYS be Red Team, and the team on the right side of the bracket will ALWAYS be Blue Team.
7. Don't bitch about lag. It'll probably happen, and it might even cost you the game. Oh well. While they're not banned, it is recommended that you avoid Port Town Aero Dive, Battleship Halberd, and Delfino Plaza, because they tend to have more lag than other stages.
8. Don't use dick tactics. If you have to ask whether or not something is a dick tactic, then it's probably a dick tactic. Examples include spamming the fan and pinning someone to a wall with Fox's Reflector.

How:
There will be no restriction of tactics or tricks. As this is a social event, the idea is to find someone with your playstyle and preferences. As this is a 4man FFA most 1v1 "tricks" probably wont work anyway.
Upon finishing a match, I'll be trusting the players to provide me with the correct scoring. We're all adults here, and I feel should be trusted as such. Besides, if anyone finds out your cheating, you'll probably never play another tourney here anyway. :P

If you didn't find his trophy in the subspace stage before the great maze, you can't use him.

I've also lost Ike in SSE, which kind of sucks since I am so tired of the Great Maze.
Nice, I'm not the only one! But yeah, I'm pretty positive you just have to clear the board before the Great Maze, where you are Kirby and go around collecting the grayed out statues.
Ya, I lost him originally as well. I don't remember exactly where I found him within subspace, but it should be pretty easy to figure out which of the two you need to look in. The one where you found everyone will have a crown, the other a flag.
I think when you hit the golden platforms that create the white platforms, there is a golden platform that creates an alternate path to where Ike's statue is at.
