can't access forums from work proxy

Alphamonkey, I tried to PM you this about this already, but it seems like you haven't seen it...

I can't get to the forums through the proxy where I work. I get the message "You have been banned from this forum." no matter where in the forums I try to jump, and that's all that appears on the screen. I'm not logged in when I get the message (and obviously I'm logged in now to post this message, except outside my office).

Any idea why this is occuring? Could you please fix it?

    Your proxy was probably used by someone who got banned.

    I suppose it's possible, but it's not an open proxy... You can only access it from inside our corporate network. Even if it was used by somebody who got banned, it surely isn't epidemic. This has just occured in the past couple weeks.

    If somebody could dig a little deeper to figure out what is happening, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    I took a look myself about a week or so ago, but couldn't find any similar IPs.

    Yeah, I sent you a PM back. I search the most basic part of the proxies you listed and found nothing. Mabye the problem's on your end somehow?

    I only have one account, and it's not banned.

    I wonder if the proxy has put a static page in place because of somebody in the company visiting the site too much. Do you log every hit to the page? Can you see if there is even a connection happening?

    Right now I manually configured a different work proxy, and I can see the site. Very strange...

    As a point of interest... Since the long forum downtime, I haven't been having problems getting to the forums.
