I still have my N64. Not hooked up, though. I won't get put it away until someone makes a replica N64 controller for Virtual Console or something.

I've still got my Virtual Boy, in the original box, with the $189 toys-r-us price tag. It has the AC and DC attachments, all the original release games minus warioland, the original books and boxes (mostly, I think I might have lost one or two in the move) and even those little black plastic things that covered the bottom of the games.

I keep it on a shelf like a display piece. Too bad it's not worth anything or I'd sell it.

No I'm pretty sure Germany have stringent rules allowing Euthanasia. Let's see what my google fu can find out...

Hmm... the only thing I can find on a cursory search is Hitler's euthanasia program... not exactly what I was hoping for...

Hmm, it appears you're right, looks like I was mistaken. I'll post an amendment in my post.
This article talks about it a bit

Talk about it crops up from time to time, but as of now, it's still illegal. Which obviously leads to death-tourism (muahaha, that sounds morbidly funny!) to Switzerland or the Netherlands.

I wonder if it has some sort of secondary power source like a watch battery or something inside. I'd take it apart and see if there was anything wrong with it.

That reminds me, I need to go through my SNES carts and replace all the batteries in them. The batteries for the save games are supposed to last about 10 or 15 years max.

I stopped using it a long time ago.

Nintendo used to have a program called "power swap" in authorized electronics shops. (like as in people that fix TV's, not best buy) where you'd give them a broken console and $40 and they'd give you a new one. If that still exists they might have a new scope for you.

Also Sabs, you sat down at a table and looked into it, it was too heavy to strap to the head, so you can't do it.

It's main color source is the four pallete game boy setup, only instead of black, white, and gray, it's shades of LED red. It caused a lot of eye irritation, seizures, and general annoyance.

The best thing though is the RPG they had in development. It was going to be a Dragon Warrior entry I think. I saw the screenshots, and I would have blown my brains out if I had to play a 40 hour RPG on that thing.
