It also permanently marks the object on the radar. So the tank can't all of a sudden go away. When you're demo it looks a lot like the target reticule when you're calling in a JDAM. Which makes me wonder if the JDAM would auto target a tracer'd tank.

Your team will probably only suck bad when your on a map full of dick wads that refuse to do anything but snipe, and when you call them out for being giant dick wads they'll go abloo bloo bloo, i want to snipe not blow up the three Abrams in our base or generally be helpful and get a score higher then 50 points. This is where you learn to TK my young grass hopper.

Man, why do so many people on my team always suck? Last round I was playing horrible, and i was top of my team with 511. This game i was there for four minutes at the end before we lost and I finished first with 219 points after four minutes. Seriously, is there a way to filter sucky people?

Submit a negative player review? Whenever I've submited one it says "X will now be avoided." I've always assumed that means it'll try to stay away from them in matchmaking stuff. Plus it hurts their rep!

I really haven't run into as many problems with people as you guys seem to have, with people having their mics on or being sniping dumbasses, teamkilling, et cetera. There've been a few problems in a few games but other than that, it has been an all around awesome experience so far.

I unlocked the MG36 tonight, and sweet lord I love that weapon. I'm still not sure if I like it over the M60, but the acog scope makes it a really good case for the MG36.
Oh, and with all the "x" in the name hate going around, I feel it necessary to note that the "x" in my name is purely for camouflage purposes.

Seriously EA, thanks for not screwing us with the micropayments, but considering your findallfive program, I'd rather buy them in future. Also next time you release a game that's multiplayer based, do you think you could not turn the servers off every day, it's been like 2 hours now with no ability to connect to EA online. Apparently, being good with artillery is grounds for being TKed and the artillery gun being blown up.
I'm positive I was once TKed in Oasis because I was singlehandedly keeping the enemy trapped in the back of their base, letting the rest of the team take out the crates. I even stopped them from rushing a light tank to our base and taking me out. Then some guy TKs me, gets in the artillery, and by the time I respawn, there's an enemy tank in our base, and he's trying to shoot it with an SMG.
Apparently, being good with artillery is grounds for being TKed and the artillery gun being blown up.
I'm positive I was once TKed in Oasis because I was singlehandedly keeping the enemy trapped in the back of their base, letting the rest of the team take out the crates. I even stopped them from rushing a light tank to our base and taking me out. Then some guy TKs me, gets in the artillery, and by the time I respawn, there's an enemy tank in our base, and he's trying to shoot it with an SMG.
I see a repeating trend here. Same thing happened to me on a different map. Had the enemy team pretty much locked down in their second Base while our team went for the crates, was number one on points from taking out vehicles, groups of enemies etc.
A buddy of mine and me were in private chat the entire time so we don't have to listen to random shit in game chat, then I noticed the little thing that pops up when someone in the squad is talking - pretty much it was going the entire time from some guy in the same squad as me. He then TK's me in the arty and takes it himself.
Ended up with my friend shooting the guy out of the arty, me re-taking it and continuing on. Once the arty was useless because I couldn't shoot at the final enemy base, I tracked the guy down and shot him in the face.

Actually you were TK'ed because you were getting to many kills with the Arty and someone else wanted them so they kill you and some times blow up the arty so they can get on it. Happens all the time.
Not by me though, fuck arty. Gimme a knife and a thong and I'll get right up in that mother.
I like how the servers keep going down in the middle of the freakin' day. I imagine they're going on their schedule, their time zone, however. DICE is based in Sweden. Taking it down for updates or so on our schedule, where the highest volume of players probably is, would probably be something along the lines of the middle of the night for them. Just as long as they're going down to improve stability, I don't mind. They usually aren't down for all that long.

I am also in europe and the servers are being taken down at around 6pm everyday, so swedish time that is 7pm. So its not likely because its the middle of the day for them, more that its going down once they are no longer watching over it

The the highest level is awarded to those that exploit, I would imagine. You've got people with 11 million points. So already the system is broken and the top players are those that cheat. They need to reset the leaderboards when they release the patch with the exploit fix, but that would be the smart thing to do and so far EA and DICE haven't been that smart.
How are the level 25 weapons, the MG3 especially? I've been looking forward to using that gun since it has such a high rate of fire. I'm level 22 right now, so not much more to go. I want to keep playing but the fucking servers have been down and are still down for me.

Ah, that's right. I forgot about those vehicle flipping idiots. Ah well, I think I'm happy with my rank, though there's always room for improvement skill-wise. I'm not really in it for the top rank anyway, I love blowing stuff up.
I'm working on testing the MG3 now, but I'm not the best support guy so we'll see. So far, though, 200 round clip and a better than average iron sight are good things.

persistance in the trying is what worked for me, I think. I did send an email to dice saying I'd turn the game into an ashtray if they kept it up, but I really dont think it was that.

I've been playing the past 2 hours, it hasnt been down for me... it wouldnt work for about 15m earlier around 1pm est, but I haven't experienced any issues other than one really laggy game. Try resetting your 360 or something.

Some people are getting lucky, others aren't. It's quite weird. Right now I'm just going through my library and trying games I haven't played in awhile or beaten. I've got Bladestorm in right now and I was playing Frontlines earlier. All I want to do is play more Bad Company! :x
