Meh. Sheep resists can be corrected within 2 seconds. The problem is incompetent mages that cast sheep then continue pewpewing, expecting the sheep to have landed.

Well, I finally did it. My old guild is unfortunately falling apart, and the rest of my server has very, very slim pickings, so I'm going to transfer to Proudmoore, which appears to have a very healthy playerbase.

Hope: That my app gets approved by the guild that I applied for. *fingers crossed*

Happy: I was awarded the T6 Bracers off Kalcegos last night.
Sad: The other primary feral-tank druid apparently isn't playing anymore because he found a girlfriend (or someone that is willing to touch his penis), thereby making me the primary bear, meaning I get to feel the pressure of tanking and no more raid nights off to do my own thing.
Surprised: Brutallus doesn't hit me very hard, and I still dodge him a decent amount even with that Sunwell Presence boss buff that messes with my dodge. Apparently I'm easier to heal than the protpally on that fight.
Hate: Nonsalved hunters ripping aggro from me on Brut.
    Amused: WoW dominates this thread.

since Sunwell bosses don't crush, druid tanks really are OP for that place.

So, Brutallus is a jerk, but my tank and healing crew need to get their shit together.

Though I do recognize that as a rogue, I just sit in one simple spot and beat the piss out of a target with 10 million hp for 6 minutes straight, so life is pretty good.

But if we can't make it to the enrage, clearly the healers and tanks need to work something out, 'cause dps is irrelavent in the long term if they can't cut it in the short term.

Awesome was resisting two of his fire attacks and cloaking a third. Yeah, he wanted me, but the RNG and I were on pretty good terms last night.

Tonight, we go back for round 2!

I also hope we hit BT this week. I put a bug in our GM's ear in regards to the idea of maybe trying to work out a deal with a guild that's only got Bloodboil down to date, and if they can work something out, hopefully we can hook them up in some fashion, and end up not having to clear half of BT (even though one 'never replaced' upgrade for me exists in those packs)

Hate: Early on last night while we were crafting our Brutallus strategy I did not possibly see how what we were doing could work.
Happy: But then we shuffled a few people around, and managed to start making it to the enrage timer.
    Hate: Healing Burns is difficult.
Happy: Healing the tank looks worse!
Hope: Bring on the rogues, paladins, and mages. Any class that can drop a Burn is a class I want.

    Hate: All of you!

    Er, I mean...

Hate: Invite time last night. FIVE HEALERS ONLINE. And not even 25 people so we couldn't make some DPS respec to at least clear the first half of BT. We did Gruul and Bagtheridon and called it a night. So much for getting back to learning Kalecgos this week. The usual "traveling for spring break!" and/or "kids are gone on spring break so I have to work more!" and/or "my computer imploded!" shit we can't really yell at people for either.

Edit: Though of course our one RL is like "OMG WE HAVE TO RECRUIT THESE FIVE PEOPLE FROM ANOTHER GUILD WHO ARE MY E-FRIENDS."

I think we're behind your curve, we only got Kalecgos down on Monday night after a delightful five nights of effort. This week however they strolled in and bagged him in 3 hours on tuesday, so I'm not about to complain.

And just to keep up in the spirit of the thread:

Hope: That we reliably get Felmyst down and onto farm status before the first gate inside Sunwell unlocks. Bosses drop more gold, and badges now? I wouldn't know because I've only killed one since the patch. It would be nice to have some raid nights of the week where we go back to Hyjal and BT. I needs my rep ring, and a rod of karabor, and and and.

See this, this makes me jealous. Admittedly we haven't been farming Illidan long enough to have a hope of killing Brutallus right now but I wish we'd just skipped farm content last week and got Kalecgos down. The rest of my raid, though, except maybe a few people, does not feel this way.

The PA-posters curve isn't too large from what people have posted so far. I think only Junpei's guild (again, of the PA posts) has downed Brut so far?

Yeah, 25-man raid bosses drop badges now. Got my two last night. I wish we had gotten Kalecgos down tuesday, but we had stupid, stupid instance servers, so there's my belated hate. I just hope we kill Brut this week.

We actually did it once before, this small guild of RL friends with mostly classes we really needed at the time approached us, and we decided to go for it, because we were having crippling attendance problems. We told them straight up that we would be judging them individually, and they said they understood, etc. A few of them turned out to be unable to make our raid times so we kept them as honorary members, but most were good players. Except they just trickled away, so not we're left with only two of them. One is one of our most reliable/skilled raiders (the warrior who's getting warglaives if we ever seen any), so I consider the whole thing a success in that sense and since it got us over that bad time, but it's odd how they ALL left for various reasons.

Package deals always end up weird though. I'm in my current guild because of a package deal. They needed a resto druid (my ex-wife) and ended up with both of us. A few months later my ex was gone and I had earned a constant raid slot. Then a CL position, then a council position. There were alot of things that worked in my favor, I was 6/8 T1, 2/8 T2 while they were working on BWL, but in the end it worked out.

I got the "holy damage when hit plus 51 stam" card for my pally when he was something like level 40, along with a Crystalforged sword for 1000g tops. I think it actually worked out to be closer to 800g or so.
