Is it that one? The official is made by Hudson Soft?

I want to get my Secret of Mana 3 player game on.

That's the one. Made by Hudson because for awhile Bomberman was the only title to use it.

Did this work for NBA Jam as well? I remember playing 4 person NBA Jam and it was glorious.

Yeah I'm currently trying to track down

    1. SNES Multitap

    2. SNES 2 /SNES Jr / (redesign - hopefully with another controller or 2)

    3. NES 2 / NES Top loader (hopefully with at least one of the redesigned controllers, too)

On the topic of old system peripherals I got one of these with my PS1 back in the day.

I never really had a game to use it properly with. I just remember trying to play Crash Bandicoot and Tekken with it and then just going back to the controller. And that thing I big, I wish I could have used it more.

That's the ONLY way to control descent properly.

St. Jimminy Christ-mas, it's even better than the mouse keyboard combo they had for the PC.

    360 degree freedom FTW.

I could have sworn my multi-tap was official and looked different from that, but I guess not. I was searching for the one I had and saw this picture. I had to post it because it’s the best thing ever. I mean seriously.

Hell, I remember plenty of all-night fun on my NES multitap (I had the cheaper, wired one) as well.

I think they called it a "Four score" multi-tap

I remember the multi-tap being L-shaped. Am I crazy, or is there something else like that?

I will say this, 4 player games just aren't as fun as they used to be. I would still love to see some sort of quadra pong on the 360 XBLA.

I know the PSX multi-tap was L-shaped, but the SNES one? I'm not sure. :|

There's a "That's what she said...", "I know you are but what am I?", and "Your mom's a..." in there all at the same time. I can just feel it.

I've got the saturn version of this, hasn't actually left the box yet, haha. Maybe I'll throw a guardian heroes geekfest at some point.

Bomberman's head is actually what have tattooed all over my chest. You can kind of see where my arms, legs, and nipples would be. As an added bonus I can make him give you a raspberry which is difficult but not really in the game anyway.

A noble endeavor. If you find any of these on eBay or something, and the seller's got more than one, these are items I'd also like to add to my repertoire. Keep us posted.

For the Sega Genesis, I remember there were two or three mutually incompatable multitap designs for games from different companies.
