Page 99 – New Feat [Addition]
Add the following feat:
Prepared for Anything
You are proficient with a towel. You always have a towel with you.
Prerequisite: Your character must be in the Spelljammer setting.
Benefit: You are able to use a towel for any of the following:
1. Keep your head warm while traveling the moons of Jaglan Beta.
2. Lie on the beautiful beaches of Santraginus V.
3. Sleep in the deserts of Kakrafoon.
4. Create a sail and ride a mini-raft on the rivers of Moth.
5. Use it in unarmed combat.
6. Protect yourself from the awful fumes of a Bugblatter Beast.
7. Wave the towel as a distress signal.
8. Dry yourself off.
The electrum, diplomacy and gnome bits were all inspired as well. The firefly reference was golden... oh my god, Colbert? This list is pure gold.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!
So, if the Naaru guy is gone, and it says they're looking for a new source for their powers...do they have some explanation for why BE Paladins are still around? Did they just store all the energy up somewhere? Or was the power of goodness always inside them, but they had to learn to believe it for themselves?
[/afterschoolspecial]
Well, a lot of what I can figure about that comes from what I observed involving the conversation between A'dal and the Blood-knight Matriarch (Silvermoon Boss) - I forget her name. Anyhow, she basically tries to apologize to A'dal about how the Blood-elves treated M'uru, and A'dal tells her there is nothing to apologize for - that A'dal and M'uru both knew long in advance that M'uru would wind up in the clutches of the Blood-elves. That M'uru's capture had been prophesied and that he was prepared for it so that the prophecy would be fulfilled. In short, the only reason the Blood-elves captured M'uru was because M'uru intended for them to capture him. She forswears Kael'thas - and swears the loyalty of the Blood-knights of Silvermoon to A'dal in their cause against Kael'thas and the Burning Legion.
From that, I am assuming the Blood-knights draw their power as before - from a Naaru, but this time from A'dal; and by the consent of A'dal.
In case you haven't caught the conversation between A'dal and the Blood-knight Matriarch - the event repeats itself every 30 minutes in Shattrath by A'dal.
So wait...if they're WILLINGLY getting power from the Naaru...doesn't that make them Full-Fledge Paladins and not "Blood Knights"?
Furthermore, wouldn't this mean it was possible to teach the other Light-equivalent users of the Horde the ways of the Paladin? I.e Troll and Undead?
Man.
I just want me some Troll Paladin action.
Priests don't exactly worship the light. I know NE priests get their powers from Elune.
Priests practice a complex, organized form of spirituality that embraces moralistic philosophies, the worship a particular deity (such as Elune) in some cases, and/or idol worship, rather than the reverence of the elements that Shamans practice, or the close divine connection with animals and the wilderness that druids maintain. Priests serve not only as influential religious figures in their respective societies, but also as powerful practitioners of divine magic, which they use to heal and protect, or harm and weaken.
I guess the best way to describe it is that most priests gain their power from inward focus, and straight up devotion to helping people, rather than the way paladin's and NE priests gain power.

So apparently the rumor is that the new enchant, Deathfrost, isn't in the game yet but will drop off of Lord Ragnafrost (or whatever his name is) during the Summer Fire Festival in June.

What fun I get to fight for it with people who have no business being enchanters
Why would a hunter take enchanting just for spell power on rings?

That's the way it seems to me for mining. Everybody in the world is a frigging miner now, it's nuts. Before you'd see warriors and hunters as miners primarily, but now I find myself competing for nodes with priests, warlocks and mages just as frequently. Why the shit would you choose mining as a cloth wearer, given how potent tailoring and enchanting is for those classes?

some people (such as myself) prefer being rich to being poor. though once I save enough money from my 2 gathering professions, I may drop em both for jewelcrafting and enchanting, so I can do some nice BoP gems and enchants for myself.
My priest is a miner because I did not feel like taking enchanting a third time. I might drop it in favor of inscription. But then mining is a money maker.

Is it possible to obtain and complete quests from a racial starting area not of your own, I.E. if I wanted more Org rep, could I go to the Troll/orc starting area and complete those?

Yes.

yep, it's possible to do all those newbie quests except the extreme newbie ones (like the level 1-6 areas for each race). like, you can do sen'jin quests and razor hill quests as an undead, but you can't do cave of trials I believe.
Okay, which leads to my next question, one I forgot,
Do rep gains diminish from quests too low for you?

Man, the WoW forums are actually entertaining today. Fancy that.
I finally got around to starting my Netherwing grind - I can't believe how many people are still doing that despite the Sunwell dailies being available.

I hear the Netherwing dailies still give some good amount of cash.
There are a few rare quests that have racial requirements ("Ending Their World" in Bloodmyst Isle comes to mind), but yeah, you can obtain the vast majority of quests in other starting areas.

I got bored of netherwing quests by early revered. also, I don't even want a nether drake. they're so huge, you can't even see where you're going. I like cruising on my compact and stylish Cenarion Hippogryph.

I'm getting a Hipp for my priest. My plan was originally to get the drake for my hunter but my hunter is boring, so my pally is getting one.
My priest is a miner because I did not feel like taking enchanting a third time. I might drop it in favor of inscription. But then mining is a money maker.
This. My warlock is a miner because she was an alt at first, and I'd never done mining, so for 60 levels she was mining/disenchanting. Then they "fixed" disenchanting so I picked up skinning for 60-70 money-making, and powerleveled tailoring at 70. But mining is still a good source of gold, and daily questing fodder, and also FUCK ENCHANTING. I may take Uncle Scrooge-like swims in my piles of gold every morning, but I powerleveled enchanting pre-BC on my druid and it was so annoying and expensive, and it's even worse now, and I refuse to do it again for 24 spell damage. This being said, if Inscription turns out to suck, I probably will end up going enchanting after all. Although if I get my paladin to 70 I might drop mining for LW for drums.
People would be more inclinded to do more netherwing, since they can do both the sunwell dailies AND netherwing with the daily quest limit increase. I don't bother with netherwing since I only have about an hour after work and before raid, but then again, I also only do 14/25 dailies a day.
Are there actually 25 dailies to do yet? We were half-assedly trying to figure this out yesterday, as my friend claims he did all the ones he could think of besides the two dungeon dailies, and only had 17. But he probably missed a lot because he doesn't quest very often.
I figured after I killed Illidan I'd actually start doing some Netherwing dailies, but I don't still. I guess doing every single one every single day until I had my drake burned me out on that place forever.

They do but they're fucking hideous. I really like the Sunwell dailies, just trying to work out a good route to complete them all plus the ones I already do.
Currently it's:
Start in Shattrath, collect quests there,
Fly to Skettis, bomb and mine any nodes I pass (the escort is now useless without the potions as rewards),
Fly to Kazzak, stopping at Thrallmar to skin boars on the way.
Do the 2 dailies at Kazzak, fly north to Netherstorm.
Get Sunfury Attack Plans there, fly to Bashir's Landing.
Grab 8 boxes, fly to Ogri'la and do the bombing run there.
Fly south to Nagrand, zap 6 fiery things outside Oshugun.
Fly to Shattrath, port to Silvermoon, fly to the Isle.
Kill 5 Arcane dudes and zap them, kill the wretched till they drop 4 dust.
Finish the dust quest on the way to the portal ones, kill some demons there, plant a flag.
Turn in and collect the bombing run, turn in the other quest on the way to the flightpath.
Bomb (only takes 1 run now), turn in and hearth to Shattrath, turn in other quests.
Vendor, repair, bank. Done!
Any way to improve on that?
I think that's around 170g per day, which is pretty great.
edit: I can fit in the Ravager quests really easily to this whenever we unlock them.

I go to work for for about 10 to 12 hours 5 days a week come home and hopefully go to sleep. Depending on when I wake up I can do about 5 to 7 dailies before I have to go back.

Hehe, my paladin is a herbalist/enchanter and so far it's made a pretty decent amount of cash. I DE everything I find on any alt, and sell the mats. Plus the new gathering quest daily makes me actually go out and herb stuff.

Where do you pick that up, anyway? I've got like 3 herbalists (... Druid, Warrior and... Priest, I believe) and hadn't bothered looking into that one.
