I wonder what they're going to do race-wise in the next Warcraft RTS. I hope they don't just look at the stats in WoW and pick the 4 most popular races, because Nelfs, Belfs, Humans and Squids/Emo's would be pretty sucky.

Well, the Alliance could certainly be Human, Draenei, and Dwarf, with gnome engineers. I don't know how they'd handle Night Elves.
Horde could be Orcs, Trolls, and Tauren for sure. That's all but three races, in only two factions.
I keep wondering what would happen if WoW was split geographically, with Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, Night Elves and Draenei being the Horde (with Draenei no longer allowed Paladins), and Blood Elves, Undead, Humans, Dwarves and Gnomes being the Alliance (with Death Knights being added to this faction).
So then you'd have Shamans and Druids on one side, with Paladins and Death Knights on the other.... plus all the races I like on one side!
Not that it'd be a good idea but I think it'd be an interesting one.
edit: mostly I want the camp ones and the emos off my side
Man, the WoW forums are actually entertaining today. Fancy that.
I finally got around to starting my Netherwing grind - I can't believe how many people are still doing that despite the Sunwell dailies being available.
I hear the Netherwing dailies still give some good amount of cash.
Limed for truth. With the changes made to the Nethermine, you can be in and out in relatively fast time. No more having to compete for Ravagers while doing the [Dragon's are the Least of our Problems] daily. Also got to mention [The Booterang: The Common Cure for the Worthless Peon] - one of the more amusing quests out there that is simple to do - and hassle free.
And of course there is the #1 daily out there when it comes to cash reward: [Picking Up the Pieces...]. An 18 gold reward for a quest you can do in under 5 minutes. I make a note of doing that quest every time if I can.
Passing up on Netherwing daily quests is a bad idea. Of course there are some daily's out there that I consider not worth it in relation to time invested vs reward. But those 3 I just listed are simple, fast, and lucrative.

Yep. With the amount of dailies and the ease of which most of them can be done, no one can legitimately complain about not being able to make money anymore. I can make 200g in two hours just from dailies alone, and just on that one character. Factor in more dailies and my other 70s, and I can rake in the dough. I made 1k in the first six days after the patch.

Ok, and if this causes the economy to inflate? You might not necessarily be any better off than before, in regards to crafting and AH items.

It hasn't really affected it with the addition of any of the previous dailies, no reason why it should now. In truth, it's still a player-driven effort. I'm still seeing just as many people out in Ogri'la, Skettis (surprisingly) and Netherwing Ledge as I did before 2.4. They just have a few more options now as well.
Edit: and if anything, the value for crafting mats has decreased. Nethers going for 50g, Vortexes going for 250-300. It's a good thing
Is there a good order to do dailies in? (i don't have access to netherwing/cooking/fishing ones)
I really want the gold, but got kinda overwhelmed with the amount of dailies available. And I have to 70's I can do them on.

I gather all the quests in Shatt (and the fishing one at Silmyr Lake), then I hit Nagrand, Skettis, take the free taxi to Ogri'la, fly further up BEM to do the mana cell one, then to Netherstorm, then back down to Ogri'la to take the free taxi back to Skettis, over to HFP to do those two, then either back to Shat to port to Quel'danas or over to Netherwing Ledge first (time pending). That's on a weekday.
And you say this only takes about 2 hours huh? I shall try this path tonight.
Without the Netherwing, aye. About 2 hours, depending on your luck with the few random drop items for some of the quests (stupid giant fel fish; 40 casts? fuck you!).
Portal to IF and fly to Sunwell Isle (my server unlocked the portal last night, so this is no longer an issue, and saves me 20 silver per day, or something).
Do the 4 dailies there (the 2 "progression" ones and the 2 "old" ones).
Hearth back to Shat. If the cooking daily is in Skettis, fly there and do that and the bombing run. Fuck the guy in the cage, even with all the other options, getting that guy is still more hassle than its worth. I only snag him hif I stumble across him (and he's uncamped) while doing the bombing run.
Fly to Hellfire and do the 2 there. The improved respawn rate on the elites has helped alleviate my hatred of that quest a lot.
Fly across the open space to Netherstorm and do the sunfury plans quest. If the daily is manaberries, grab 'em.
Fly over to BEM and do the portal quest along with the cooking daily if it's there. (might skip this unless the cooking daily is present, as it's kind of a pain, but that said, now that the portal is done, competition for the cells will probably go way down)
Fly south to Nagrand and do the cooking (as usual, if it's there) and the goggle quest. Way to save 30 seconds: be sure to equip the goggles as you enter nagrand.
I suppose I could save a couple minutes per day by doing the Outlands quests first, then portaling to Sunwell Isle and doing those.
For the alt addicts: I also parked all my alts on Sunwell Isle. If I feel so inclined I can do 32 dailies in like 1.5-2 hours just by doing the 4 Sunwell ones per character. I don't really do this per day, but when I'm sitting out on a raid (as I have been lately, as they only want 2 rogues in and we're pushing for a Brutallus kill), it's a good way to pass the time as I listen to the raid on vent, or have something else going in the background, like Battlestar Galactica.
I bought my 4th epic flier last week (Putting me now at Rogue, Druid, Paladin, Hunter), and am nearly half way to another already (although I also got half a grand from the guild bank in exchange for a huge pile of things they needed that I had on hand; like 10 or 12 repair bots and 25-30 ironshield potions), but still. Even just fucking around and doing a few per day before the raid and then messing around on alts if I get "sat out" for progression, I figure I can do an epic flier per month at this rate. Making about 200 gold a day isn't very hard when I can get that on just my rogue, and doing it on the others for a little rep doesn't hurt either.

RE: Dailies = Inflation. Well, it has on my server. Most of the goods I track have gone up around 10%. I haven't been able to sign in since Sunday to see if Primal Mights are still double what they were a week ago, though (I'm hoping it's a temporary spike).

I like the Bard hero class on the WoW site too.
The Tauren Marines were a nice touch.
I'd probably like the game better with Tauren Marines.
I... liked Tauren too much in WC3. My friends knew it, and the bastards would build flying counters preemptively after a while.

On the weekend, multiply that x3 for my 70s.
Skyguard taxi from Sketti's to Ogrila.
The FP's will deffo be faster on a normal mount though.
Funny, I didn't know that.
That said, my pattern of late has been this:
Pick up cooking daily and SSO dailies in Shat.
