RE4 for the PS3 and 360? Hunh?

I don't know if this has been posted, but apparently Capcom is going to port RE4 to the PS3 and 360.

But according:this, This is a fake.

If it's real, I wonder how many achievements RE4 will have for the 360 version.

    They aren't going to put it on the 360 or the PS3, because the Wii Edition is the best they could make it.

    No amount of prettying up the already incredible visuals will be able to compensate for lack of Wii controls.

    I played it just fine on a controller the first time, I couldn't give a shit more about different controls. Prettying it up would be nicer to me.

    Along with Dolby Digital 5.1 instead of Pro Logic 2.

    Okay.... the first we hear of this supposed port is a box art leak. I should think a game would be long in development before they ever got around to making box arts... as such I'd think we should have heard about this by now if it were true.

    I strongly suspect this is a poorly-thought out joke. But, not owning any system that the game appears on but having a 360, I could wish it was true. Another year is a hell of a long time to wait for RE5.

    Wow. Really? We work in San Francisco? I didn't know that. Why does my business card say we're in San Mateo? Darn it, I need to get it updated.

    Also. We have no artists that work in Dev here... Further more, All RE comes out of Japan. None of it comes from CEI.

    Capcom don't work in SF.

    Someone made some shitty fake cover art, and now they're trying to convince us about a 'zomg re4 on 360/ps3'?


    Man, they need to work on their stuff if they're going to try to pull an internet prank. Box art is easy. They need to fake some screenshots, that's what they need to do.

    I just wanted to say, naming it Classic Edition makes no sense. But still, I think I would buy this damn game again if they ported it to the 360 D:

    I'd buy it if they redid the art assets in the RE5 engine and made an extra Hunk campaign. And, since I'm enjoying this pipe dream so much, I say they also make the main campaign playable with all mercenaries characters as well.

    Well, being a pipe dream and all, why don't we throw in online/offline mercenaries mode, 4 player coop.

    It'll be like The Club, only good.

    Well, if you'd like, you could always get the PC vsn of RE4 and install the user-made High-resolution Texture Packs.

    But you aren't getting an extra campaign or anything.

    I would definitely buy this again. Even if it had the same graphics.

    Plus I prefer the joystick controls over the Wii version, but the Wii version is still the best because it has PS2 extras with GC controller compatibility.
