Phones

Phones aren't exactly my thing, but I'm due an upgrade from my Nokia N73. I've had it a couple of years and have for the most part enjoyed it, however some frequent freeze-ups and general slowness have made me hasten the upgrade process.

Basically I like the sound of the iPhone, but I won't be getting one (different provider, and the tariff is too much anyway). So through some research, I found:

Samsung's F700 (Touchscreen, slide-out qwerty keypad, 3.2 MP camera)
LG Viewty (Touchscreen, no keys, 5 MP camera)

Both are appealing, then I found out my provider don't do LG either. So I went in, having basically decided on the F700, which I can get for free. Then in a catalogue, I see there's a new version coming out, the F490, with a better (5 mp) camera, but without the slide-out keypad. I like the idea of the keypad to fall back on, but the camera would be better than the one I have now.

So I guess what I'm asking is; does anyone have an F700, and do they like it? Is the keypad a worthwhile feature? The F490 is apparently due in 1 week - but I doubt it will be a free upgrade.
