God he's in such an amazing guy. For those who you who for some strange reason don't know who he is Simon Pegg is a British writer/actor/producer/cool dude who has done many great things.

The first big thing he did was the show Spaced.

It was highly well recieved.

An episode of Spaced would then inspire him to make the movie Shaun of the Dead

Like the show Spaced it was highly well recieved and a great parody on zombie movies.

A few years after Shaun of the Dead he would make another great movie: Hot Fuzz

It was also a really great movie filled with tons and tons of homages.

And now yet another one of Simon Pegg's movies has been released in the US of A

Unlike the previous two movies mentioned though this movie has been getting mostly mixed reviews.

And thats not all. He's also currently in the works for a bunch of other movies too. Such as Star Trek, Paul, a movie co-written with buddy Nick Frost, And his third collaboration with Director/writer Edgar Wright who has worked on both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

So there you go lets all talk about how much we love Simon Pegg

    The Run Fat Boy Run trailer assaulted my brain with its trite jokes, and forced humour. I'm also sure that nobody would want to watch it if Simon Pegg wasn't in it.
    Fuck that shit. It looks awful.

    Hot Fuzz is super good.

    Run, Fatboy, Run was directed by David Schwimmer and written by Pegg and Michael Ian Black, of Stella.

    there's a reason the latter isn't as good as the rest of them

    I do mention in the OP that he has worked with Simon a bit. Also yes it may not be as good but its still a damn good movie

    that was my initial reaction too, but I've heard it's not really all that bad. run of the mill premise and jokes though.

    and David Schwimmer kicked ass in Band of Brothers so he gets a little respect

    edit: but according to IMDB he also directed two episodes of Joey so it balances back out to 0

    Why not direct episodes of Joey. Not like you will do any damage to anything if you totally fuck it up.

    I liked Mission Impossible III
    But I didn't like Simon Pegg in it
    At least his first scene
    He seemed so uncomfortable and unnatural
    His second scene was okay

    Hot Fuzz was loads better than Shaun of The Dead.

    That said, Simon Pegg is awesome and he deserves hell of high fives. His guest role in Black Books was fantastic.

    Speaking of Black Books, Dylan Moran is also in Run Fat Boy Run.
