Constant faint popping in right ear.

The title really says it all. I suddenly noticed a faint noise I hear only in my right ear, it sounds like a very faint popping. Taking a shower and using a Q tip has done nothing to make it go away. Should I go to the doctor or what? This has been going on for about six hours.

    Have someone look in there see if they see anything, could just be a bug of some sort has gotten into your ear. Tiny spider, or fly, or something, and they got stuck.

    If they can't see anything I'd goto the doctor because a popping in my ear would drive me insane.

    I believe this can be a sign of an ear infection. It may be a good idea to have your doctor check it out.
