Hey guys - I need a few hundred people to just hammer the shit out of our CDN with the downloader... do you think we can coordinate at 5:15 PM PST to use the downloader and just beat the shit out of it? If you've already downloaded the podcast, you should delete it or remove it from the desktop. Also, we've fixed some bugs with the old downloader app, so if you could RE-download it that would be awesome:

    For those that are getting below 20kbps, what OS are you using? We seem to be having an issue with the OSX downloader.

    Yeah, OS X. Been 8-12 KB the entire time, with dips to 4. Definitely not that slow on my side.

    I’m on OS X and I’m currently hovering around 80kbps, which is about half my maximum possible speed. Might be somebody else in the house using the web too.

    In OH it flew buy before the slam and finished within 5-10 minutes... Now I'm sitting at 8kbs using the Windows Installer.
