Hi5 saw the same thing when I went to see that movie. Thought the movie was pretty good too.

i was going to see the Ruins today. i heard it was good.
Was the GTA4 trailer mixed in with the actual previews or was it one of those "pre-show" ads?

Socialism is the concrete foundation of America. Capitalism is the flimsy tin shack that sits upon it.

Oh thats still pretty cool. I wouldn't mind watching that on the big screen.
The best thing about where I see movies is that I can rent the theatre out for myself and a couple of friends and play GTA4 all day/night. Seriously, I love Galaxy theatres (plush seats, DLP digital projection, etc).

you should do it, damn the cost. Haven't seen that trailer yet, so it came as a nice surprise.
Yeah, Ruins was surprisingly better than what I was expecting, which was typical dumb horror stuff. It won't blow you away, but it was still a good watch.

Yeah I'm going to have to. My friends and I will share the cost, so it shouldn't be that expensive.
And according to Aintitcool, the Ruins feels a bit like the Descent, which I liked.
Slightly off-topic: Should I rent Death at a Funeral? My finger is hovering over the button on the 360 right now.

dude, that is spot on, now that i think about it. Tons of similarities, but cabin fever had slightly more boobies. Also, the better ending, because c'mon
Yeah also hereto if you have seen Cabin Fever and liked it then you would probably get a kick out of The Ruins.
Edit: Yeah similar to The Descent too but I would probably compare it more to Cabin Fever
I don't remember anything about Cabin Fever besides the fact that I liked it and it had to do with some kind of disease that a group of teens got when they visited a cabin (am I in the ballpark at least?).

Oh now I remember. Gross.
The beginning of Eli Roth grossing people out in cinemas nationwide, I suppose.

it's pretty buggy at times (I've had my car disappear for a second when moving to a different district) and has some massive slowdown
but it's got such an insane amount of customizability and it's pretty entertaining
I am looking forward to SR2

I just really want this to come out on PC as quickly as possible because damnit, I want a 360 but buying one will not be a financially sound decision for a while.
Also, fuuuck cabin fever. Not saying it was terrible, I just fucking hate the scene where the guy touches his ladyfriends girlyparts and she is all moaning and enjoying it and then the blood and screaming begins and everything just... yeah just fuck that disease seriously.
Can you drink and drive for real in this game? That's kind of crazy. 10:1 says someone bitches out Rockstar for it.
From how it was explained, you go on 'missions' with Roman that entail you going out boozing. Afterwards, when Roman and Nico are good and sloshed you are required to get them back home while the camera (and Nico) sways and blurs.
Think back to the part in Vice City where you have to drive the redneck guy to the hospital after he's blown off his arm or the part in San Andreas after you've torched all of The Truth's pot plants and have to get him to San Fierro.
No doubt it's fun, I just wonder how impressionable kids are. Guns and all, whatever, drunk driving is something that's a lot easier to get yourself into.
Unfortunately there probably ARE a lot of teenagers who would play the game and think doing it in real life was fun. The fact that you'll probably be crashing into and sideswiping tons of cars, poles, pedestrians and other objects in-game might be enough to get some of them to realize that doing it in real life would have negative repercussions.
Then again you always get that one kid who thinks that he's an expert at driving drunk or claims to "drive better" under the influence.
I'm not entirely sure if Rockstar is going to be able to be blamed for it but hell, they're used to it by now.
We should start our own nation. A nation where everyone was over the age of 18 and under the age of 40 (with only a handful of notable exceptions, you know who I mean). There we could all enjoy our lives without having to deal with the pressures from the younger or older generations who seek to fuck it all up for us.

Is that right, or am I just confused?
Oh, good. I was worried there for a minute.
All the previous ones I have purchased for PC.

Hmm i'm not sure on which side of "this is a fun simulation of what this would be like" or "it would be fun to do this"
