Well they did post an answer to the guild beta already (check the last page). As the game timeframe moves back, so does all the various beta invites.
If they planned to release the game in January with an open beta in December and then moved the release date to April, it wouldnt make any sense to leave open beta in December now would it?
edit; they actually are using a screenshot not my journal, booo
Good plan. I bet they've never been asked that one before :P
Also ask the disciple of khaine question, whatever the hell that was. Something to do with lo(gay)re.
Only people that don't know Warhammer lore for shit bitch about the Disciple. Or mouthy bitches who just want to troll for attention and some sort of misguided geek street cred.

I was being sarcastic ... did that not come across? I couldn't give a shit about the guys bitching about the Disciple, I read their posts on WHA and it made me stop going to that site! Bunch of whiny arses the lot.
@Septus: In that case get them to send all o0f us beta invites. Guild beta interests me not, as i am not in the queue for it :P

This.
If you can get them to do anything other than gibber uncontrollably.
Question # 5 – But what about the Guild Beta, when is that going to start?
Answer # 5 - One of the things I’ve been saying for the last few months is that we do not want to invite the guilds into WAR en masse until they can really experience and participate in every aspect of the game. These guys and gals represent some of the most experienced MMORPG players in the North America and Europe, and we want them to see the game when it is in really good shape so they can get as positive an experience as possible with a beta product. They represent one of our core audiences and showing them the game too early would be a mistake. I’m quite sorry that the guild beta has been delayed but as I’ve said regarding our recent delays, we will ship this game when it’s great and not before. And since we have pushed back our release schedule, dates for phases of the beta are pushed back as well. In the end I know that the guilds want the same thing that I do: for WAR is a great game. So I ask the WAR fans in general to be patient just a while longer, the same goes true for the guilds. Once we can lock down a date for the guild beta, we will begin contacting the guilds so they can prepare to unleash death and destruction on their opposing realm.
Is there a mechanic on the Magus similiar to the sorceress, where using more magic could kill it?
Because instead of dying, he should be turned into a shitty chaos spawn that moves randomly around rather than where the player controlling it wants it to go. Just for a while, then it explodes, killing people next to it.

They won't be putting similar mechanics on the same faction. The bright wizard is the only one.
I haven't read anything about the magus other than being attached to that infernal disk. Not very chaotic given it's consistancy but I'm sure it drives them mad. I mean you probably have to lift your robes and pee over the disk or it'll puddle at your feet. Oh dear can you imagine the smell? You can't really give two shakes cuz it just gets all over your feet.
I'm sure smart magus found out ways to hover vertically and pee straight down. Sounds like a good diversionary tactic for blinding stunties...hmm
It might mean overal weaker nuking power to balance out. Dunno.
Chaos Magic of Tzeentch is usually boring. Fire that mutates you, fire that burns, fire that drowns you in custard...
Part of being Chaotic is being boring, it'd seem. Also, the demo version seemed pretty unfocused. DoT, damage spell, AoE damage, and the like. It really didn't feel finished.
Hmm a versatile mage might be kind of neat. Didn't Mesmers (or whatever they were called) in DAOC have powerful AOE dots? Magus might be a new incarnation of that.

I thought mesmer was a class from guild wars, they focused on being tricky bastards who did annoying things to you instead of actual damage.

Its definitely not a DaoC class, though Camelot does have some powerful AE Dots(Shaman and Mentalists come to mind).
I read an absolutely fantastic "state of the game" sort of review on another website and I would LOVE for other people to read it, but I'm not sure how to go about it. See, this review is posted on the forums of a website that specializes in leaking Beta content and breaking NDAs, and in order the read posts on the forums, you have to register. I'd post the article here and credit the guy, but I don't know for sure if any of the review's content breaks Mythic's NDA (most of the stuff looks safe, but I dunno) [EDIT: My own stupidity has been edited out of this section to maintain the illusion that I'm not a total dick wad.]. Also, I'm pretty sure the review breaks the character limit on these forums.
So, I personally think it's a REALLY good read and everyone looking forward to the game should give it a look. It answers a lot of questions I had about the game and gave me a better idea of what to expect from the title, but I don't want to break any rules or step on anyone's toes by posting what may or may not be inappropriate content.
Suggestions?
EDIT: Okay, poor wording, so I made a few edits. Can someone give me an idea of what would or wouldn't be against the NDA? Or could I have some one who is in beta and know what Mythic's NDA is like take a look at it and let me know? 'Cause it really is a very well written and informative "review" without going into real specifics. A lot of it is what we already know, just all wrapped up into one place and put in very clear terms.
PM me the article and I'll read it to see if it is NDA safe or not. (I'm in the beta...sort of)
I'm guessing it isn't but, who knows, if its just like a preview from a magazine without any previously unpublished information it may be safe.
I think the Prime Minis... kidding. Well, not kidding, as I'm curious, but please don't hurt me Accualt!
Seriously though, someone just answered a question I had earlier inadvertantly; 8 characters per server. That's interesting; in order to play every class of every faction, I'd need to play on 4 servers.
Which I won't be doing.
So now I get to narrow down which classes hold the most appeal, because I know I'll have alts rolling at some point, since I assume that there'll be character specializations (like crafts and whatnot) that you can't have all of at once on the same character, and having a bunch of gatherers/crafters on hand can be really useful (assuming that exists in this game, but I only use it as an example from my prior experiences).
Forar on
First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!

I'll help you determine that if you'd like to forward the link.
Sadly no, I was working on some lady's computer. She's paying for me CE...and then some!
I should really read up on the stuff in the secret NDA places more so I can plan ahead for these events of amazingness. I haven't gotten to NDA much and right now, each time I do, I make a new NDA and my head swims at the possibilities auto presented towards me when I click on the NDA. The little NDAing I've actually been able to do, though, is awesome. The most awesome.

Well, surely his intent was to ask them this question while he had them lashed to an engine of pain and agony.

chosen
disciple of khaine
black orc
marauder
or all four.
The super-secret Voltron class?
That sounds dumb.
There's definately a level of awesome there.

At least I can still hate things to death with the Black Guard.

Same here, which is why the 8 character limit per server is annoying. I am an altoholic, guess i'll just have to spread my chaos across the servers.

If this poster, among the many, has written a quality review, it would be Pretty Much a shame if they got in trouble for breaking the NDA.
I agree, I would hate to cause anyone any potential problems. I would hate to be made the scape goat for some one loosing their beta access.

Maybe a few splinters you'd like to insert under their fingernails?
ITT: Accualt teases the masses.
Accualt did you participate in that awesome thing they did for people like us who cant tell other people about it?
