Dumb question about my boyfriend's smartphone.

So. Boyfriend has a Blackberry Curve and I have a Nokia 6126.

For some reason, these crazy bitches don't want to be friends. We can text, but every time we have a phone call, it drops or the service is sketchy. Since our relationship will soon be long distance, I'm not pleased. I don't want to text him when talking is much easier.

We both use AT&T. Is there a way to solve this? Could it be his phone? My phone doesn't have trouble with anyone else's -- just his. Anyone have similar experience with their Blackberry Curve, or should I call AT&T and complain about service coverage? For reference, we are usually in the same city, and we can rarely connect clearly for more than a minute or so. Grrr.

It IS a smartphone, and what guy wants to talk to his girlfriend for a long period of time anyway?

No but for reals, ask him if he experiences bad service, or if for some reason he's always in a subway tunnel or something whenever he talks to you? My bet is on his phone if yours has no other problems, so you should probably be better off talking to him about it. Also, phone AT&T and tell them. They get paid to answer questions, so make them do it.

Yeah. I'll try to talk him into calling them.

Good. From my time at futureshop I learned that the host company for any service can very easily check for any problems, both on their and your end. So that is always your best bet when dealing with phone (or internet) connection problems.
