Hello everyone. My coworkers and I regularly play PSP on our lunch break. Some of us have been doing so since the first day the PSP was in stores. Now that we have gathered a larger number of participants, we desperately need a 4 player game that doesn't suck so we can have more people playing together. The problem we're having is that game reviews for PSP almost NEVER take multiplayer into account. Some games get terrible reviews (deservedly), but the multiplayer is a load of fun (I'm looking at you, Bomberman). Other games have high marks, but the multiplayer mode is some watered-down element of the game, often no fun at all.
Please let everyone know if you've played a 4 player PSP game with good multiplayer. We've already burned out both Bombermans, Star Wars Battlefront, Twisted Metal, and Chile Con Carnage (only okay).
It would be even better if the game didn't require a ton of playtime outside the lunch hour in order to be competitive. Some of us only play at lunch.
Hopefully we can get a decent list going here for all of the PSP owners out there.

Have you guys tried the Syphon Filter games? Our office started running lunchtime deathmatches, and it's quickly usurped the usual Mario Kart runs we used to have. Pretty quick and easy to setup, and it doesn't really require extensive playtime outside of the multiplayer matches (though the single player game is pretty well done, and isn't a bad way to spend a few hours).
Dark Mirror should be dirt cheap by now, but Logan's Shadow adds a few more maps and new weapons (plus, water!). The other alternative is the downloadable Combat Ops; it's cheaper, multiplayer only, lets you make customized maps, and is only about 70MB in size.
Alternatively, Metal Gear: Portable Ops is an ok multiplayer game. Though it would require some campaign play to get equipment/soldiers, and is less control-friendly for the uninitiated.
