The source has always been reliable in the past. All taken from the latest Famitsu.
Perfect Prosecutor (DS/Capcom/??)
* A law adventure game where you act as the prosecutor.
* Main characters are Miles Edgeworth, Dick Gumshoe
* You control Edgeworth, searching for overlooked evidence and inconsistencies at the crime scene.
* New search and deduction systems are introduced.

Twilight Syndrome: Legend of the Forbidden City (DS/Spike/7-24)
* New work within the series
* Main character, schoolgirl Mizuki, is led on a chain of horror after receiving a strange chain mail.
* Mizuki: UENO Mami, Riko: HORI Yuri, Reika: SHIHONO Ryo
* Scrolling right and left, you can examine interesting places, checking the truth of rumors

    I'm sure it'll be good because every single PW game has been good but....

    PW3 Spoilers
    Playing as Edgeworth in the final case of 3 was really cool because it came out of nowhere and having the cops on your side the whole time when they never were before until the very end was cool. But making a whole game like that, it kind of loses the charm. And I know it won't just be AA with Edgeworth but you get my point.

    Got some news that might be disappointing.

    This seems to be a spinoff in the truest sense of the word. Meaning it's not...quite like the other games. I'll let you guys see for yourself and react.

    (Japanese language scans are allowed, right?)

    Looks like the news hit GameFAQs and the host went down.

    Long story short - it shows Edgeworth actually running around environments. No courtroom in sight. Seems to be a more "fleshed out", point and click adventure version of the investigative phase of the PW games. At least at first glance.

    I don't know about you fools, but Blue Oasis sounds like total money. Breed fish? And watch them move?! ARE YOU SERIOUS SIGN ME THE FUCK UP

    (I wasted so much time with EL-FISH back in the day.)


    I'm all for a point-and-click style adventure game, though, Ace Attorney spinoff or no spinoff.

    I'd still buy it. I haven't even beaten AA2 yet but I want this hardcore.

    Y'know, this could just be an improvement to the investigative phase, and if it is, it's a pretty major improvement!

    Also, i see the court record on the bottom screen. It looks largely the same as before.

    Methinks this is going to be a proper PW (except not) game! :D

    I too need to beat AA2. I think I aught to restart case 3 so that I can figure out what's going on again... I was just completely stuck on Tommy and got irritated. I got AA3 for $20 at Fry's, so that's also waiting. Perfect Prosecutor could definitely be an interesting spinoff of the Ace Attorney series. It also sounds like a good guess for the English title.

    Band Bros. DX is also interesting news... I'll keep an eye out for that one.

    Seriously, AA is a game series where you cannot forget what's happening. I dropped it right after the first investigation phase of case 3 and had to look at a FAQ about what I had already done just so I knew what I had to work with. The bottle wasn't ringing any bells at all.

    I skimmed the magazine scans and fail to see the part where the game is called "Perfect Prosecutor" in English. I just see "Gyakuten - something" as the new title. Am I missing something? Is "Perfect Prosecutor" just an unverified stab at what it might be?
